Last time I checked, Nigerians were already tagging Disney to inform them about this. Atleast this animated series represents us a lot and it won't be bad if we have access to it. Guess what guys, Nigerians now have access to this series. I guess Disney got the message😂.

The truth is I haven't been able to see this series yet, but the trailer alone had me so intrigued and I have been wondering since then if this series was actually worth the hype. Well, buckle up for a breakdown of the trailer of this series that is sure to blow your mind and spark up your interest without spoiling any major plot of the series.

A Fusion of Futuristic Lagos and Compelling Characters.

This trailer introduces us to a vibrant, futuristic vision of Lagos, Nigeria. You will see Skyscrapers piercing the sky, sleek vehicles zipping through the streets, and even dazzling lights painting the cityscape. I ready don't think our Lagos will ever get to this state though because the Lagos in this series is a Lagos that's unlike any we've ever seen before.

At the center of it all, two characters – Tola and Kole were introduced to us. I was able to sense their distinct personalities even from the brief moment I saw their character in the trailer. There is this confidence and determination Tola radiates and on the other hand Kole seems more grounded and thoughtful. The trailer kind of exposes this connection between the both of them, but it then leaves you wanting to know more about their individual journeys and how they might intertwine.

Action, Mystery, and a Touch of Tradition:

Interestingly, the trailer of this series had lots of action sequences in it. From the trailer, We see Tolu in some dangerous situations, and I guess you already know what that means right? We will be seeing some thrilling and action scenes that is sure to keep anyone watching it on the edge of their seat.

Surprisingly, this trailer showcased elements of traditional Nigerian culture together with the futuristic setting. There is always a way old things blend with new things to create a unique feeling and I guess you are already wondering how tradition might play a role in this futuristic world right? Well, time will tell.

A Story with Heart:

I feel this series has a story with heart because the trailer exposes us to a story targeted to that direction. There was a moment where we see a romance growing between Tola and Kole, and then again, there is this sense of purpose and determination I see in their eyes. I just feel that these things means that this is a story that actually goes beyond just action and performance. I feel this is a series that has the possibility of exploring the themes of love, ambition, and even the pursuit of dreams.

My Verdict

The trailer didn't reveal much, but with the little it was able to reveal to us, I don't think I will be mincing words if I say that the series is going to be an interesting one. The trailer alone was so captivating and I belive the series itself will be more captivating.

The animation is stunning, the futuristic Lagos is a wonder to behold, and the characters are already sparking up curiosity. See guys, I just feel this series is a must watch and so, if you are a fan of animation, this series should definitely be on your watchlist.
