Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today I thought we'd do another You Should Laugh More post.

Research has shown that laughter is good for us. It has all kinds of health benefits. Despite most of us knowing this, none of us laugh enough. Yeah, I know, being an adult is tough, and furthermore there is a lot of grim stuff happening in the world. These things may be true, but that just is all the more reason for trying to get a little laughter into our lives.

So what do I have for you today. I'm going to pick out a geek comedy group for you today. I shared one of their videos the other day in the BRO Mancave and I discovered that many people in that server are huge fans of this group. It made me think that maybe I should share them with all of you.

This group is in New Zealand. They started about ten years ago with only two members, making short comedy skits about being clerks in a computer store. The topics included all the usual geek things: love of gaming, Reddit addiction, inability to talk with girls, and so on. A year of so later the group was joined by a third member, then a forth, and at this point they've ballooned up to an dozen or so members. They are extremely popular on YouTube and earn enough money from YouTube, their Patreon, and merch, that they recently purchased land to build their own studio and they now produce several different series, publishing daily.

I'm going to share a few of my favorites. Even back at the beginning when they were just a two-person team filming in a local computer store after hours, they produced a few videos per week, so after ten years they have thousands of them. Therefore this list is not going to be all inclusive. but I'll try to pick out some good ones.

Bored

This is their original series, the computer shop that I mentioned above, titled Bored.

Karen vs Manager

The title says it all. Karen visits the store, and she and the manager (who is normally a jerk to his employees) have a showdown.

This is one of their earliest videos, back when it was just two guys. A very simple joke here, but couldn't be more true.

Epic NPC Man

Next we'll go to their MMORPG (basically Worlds of Warcraft) series. This was their second big series which also continues today. This is funny and really well done.

And, well, I could go on and on. Let's just leave it with their oldest two shows. Maybe I'll do a sequel post to this one sometime, but until then, if you enjoyed any of these, I'd urge you to go to their YouTube channel and watch more. I subscribe to them. They release one skit per day, so that's at least one small chunk of time in my day when I know I'll be laughing.
