Hello movie lovers!
Have you ever fallen in love or have a feeling to your best friend? As for me, I have never fallen in love with my best friend. Surely you are confused, why am I suddenly asking about falling in love with a friend? So, lately I've been in the mood to watch love story films. To be honest, I'm not a fan of love stories, but lately I've been wanting to watch love stories. I watched several films on Netflix, one of which was a film called Seasons which tells a love story between friends. This is a Filipino film. To be honest, I rarely watch Filipino films, but recently I watched films from this country. To be honest, it's a bit strange for me to watch a film about romance between friends. Maybe because I have several male friends and have never fallen in love or had feelings for them. Some people think that the best partner is the one who is closest and understands you, namely a friend. But in my opinion, it's best not to have romantic feelings in friendship. Why do I think that? Because romantic feelings between friends will only ruin the friendship if the love story doesn't work out. But, actually many people are successful with this kind of relationship. I mean a friendship that turned into romance. Sorry for talking too much, we should just discuss the film straight away.

• Story

Charlie and Kurt are very close friends. Since they were teenagers, the two of them have relied on each other, especially Charlie, who always tells Kurt everything. Because both of them always failed in love, Charlie finally tried to find Kurt a partner. Until finally he met Jane and matched her with Kurt. However, when Kurt started a relationship with Jane, Charlie became jealous and realized that he actually loved Kurt. When Kurt told Charlie that he was going to propose to Jane, Charlie was jealous and lied to Kurt that she was pregnant. Charlie asks Kurt to accompany him out of town to look for the father of the baby he is carrying. But after several days together they finally realized that she actually loved Charlie. But after he found out that Charlie lied to him about being pregnant, Kurt felt betrayed by the person he trusted most.Then their friendship broke down.

• My opinion after watching the movie

The story of this film is actually quite interesting. It's just that there are several scenes that I think are a bit inappropriate, for example when Kurt finds out that Charlie is lying. I know that it tells the story of someone who feels betrayed after finding out that his best friend lied, but I think the reaction was excessive which made the ending of the story not what I expected. However, I still wouldn't say that this film is bad. This film is quite good, there are even several scenes that made me cry. Especially the ending really made me sad and touched . I'm easily moved when I watch films about friendship or family.

• The Cast

~ Lovi Poe as Charlie, she is a very beautiful and sexy Filipino actress. He played the character of Cahrlie well. Because I rarely watch Filipino films, this is the first time I watch a film in which she plays.

~ Carlo Aquino plays Kurt. Unlike Lovi Poe, I have watched films starring Carlo Aquino. In the film Seasons, Carlo plays Kurt, Charlie's best friend. His acting is also pretty good, and he's also handsome, Lol.

What did I learn from this film?

Every time I watch a film or drama, I always get something new to learn. From the film Seasons I learned that it is not impossible that one day I will fall in love with my friend. And if that happens I won't wait long, I will tell him the truth. It's bound to be awkward after that, but at least being honest is better than having to lie like Charlie does in this film. But if the opposite happens, if my friend reveals that he loves me then I will act as usual even after I reject him. Of course I will refuse it in a subtle way so as not to hurt his feelings. If I think back, I've actually experienced it. Ten years ago my friend revealed that he liked me, but at that time I had a boyfriend and I rejected him. But, Our friendship has been good until now. It's just that sometimes he likes to tease me about me rejecting him, hahahaha.

I think this film is quite good and I recommend watching it. This film is currently still showing on Netflix, so for those who are interested in watching, please watch it straight away. Thank you for reading this Seasons film review. Hope you enjoy reading it.
