"What is a Woman?" the documentary that blew up my twitter feed [ES| EN]
Hola gente bonita, estoy aquí escribiendo este post a 5 minutos de haber terminado este documental porque me dije “ALGO TENGO QUE DECIR DE ESTO”, hoy quiero hablar un poquito, porque hay demasiado material del que hablar del documental que se acaba de volver viral por twitter “What is a Woman”.

Este es un documental hecho por Justin Folk que trata que un comentarista llamado Matt Walsh desglose y haga una simple pregunte ¿Qué es una mujer? No conocía la existencia de este documental, pero fue sacado en 2022 y gracias a mi mejor amigo me di cuenta que hace no mucho lo colocaron EL DOCUMENTAL COMPLETO por twitter y lo logré ver por allí y la verdad es que me dejo boquiabierta.
This is a documentary made by Justin Folk that is about a commentator named Matt Walsh breaking down and asking a simple question What is a woman? I didn't know about this documentary, but it was released in 2022 and thanks to my best friend I found out that not too long ago they posted THE FULL DOCUMENTARY on twitter and I managed to watch it over there and the truth is that it blew my mind.
Todo se trata de Matt entrevistando a una serie especialistas, personas y demás sobre que es una mujer y todas las demás dudas que lo llevó a esto, por ejemplo, “¿Cualquiera se puede identificar como mujer?” “Aunque tengas pene ¿te puedes referir a ti como mujer?” y muchas más dudas que tienen que ver mucho tanto solamente con el tema de “definir socialmente a una mujer” y con el mundo LGBTI y de verdad siento que este post me cae como anillo al dedo para este mes así que aproveche para quitarme horas de sueño y ver este documental completo.

No es muy largo dura 1 hora y media y siento que vale la pena igual, no es un documental que tiene la verdad absoluta, no siento que sea un documental que quiere cambiarte tus pensamientos e ideales de manera abrupta o decirte “Estas equivocado” o “estas en lo correcto”, siento que su objetivo es educar, buscar la manera que todo lo que muestra entenderlo y concientizarlo en nuestras vidas y hasta hacer nuestras propias investigaciones, por mi parte siento que mi manera de pensar y definir todo no ha cambiado sino más bien estoy un poco más firme con lo que pienso.
It is not very long, it lasts 1 hour and a half and I feel it is worth it anyway, it is not a documentary that has the absolute truth, I do not feel it is a documentary that wants to change your thoughts and ideals abruptly or tell you "You are wrong" or "you are right", I feel that its objective is to educate, to find a way to understand and raise awareness of everything it shows in our lives and even do our own research, for my part I feel that my way of thinking and defining everything has not changed but rather I am a little firmer with what I think.

Quise poner este título así porque la verdad al principio pensé que las entrevistas serían serias y normales, típicas, donde simplemente preguntas y esperas la respuesta, pero en este caso Matt buscaba que los entrevistados no se desviaran del tema, respondieran su pregunta y trataran de no dejar ningún clavo suelto, haciendo que se viera en muchas oportunidades, bastante molesto o insistente pero también eso mostraba la ignorancia y manipulación de muchas personas y doctores que entrevisto.
I wanted to put this title because the truth is that at first I thought the interviews would be serious and normal, typical, where you just ask and wait for the answer, but in this case Matt wanted the interviewees not to deviate from the topic, answer his question and try not to leave any loose nail, making it look on many occasions, quite annoying or insistent but also that showed the ignorance and manipulation of many people and doctors that he interviewed.
Dos ejemplos perfectos fueron el político que apoya a los transgéneros y la doctora que se basó más que nada en la ciencia, allí vimos dos entrevistas completamente diferentes donde en la primera, como cualquier político buscaba desviar el tema y no responder de manera directa para no caer en un mal entendido con quien viera la entrevista, pero al ver que Matt era insistente y cauteloso con las palabras él decidió no terminar la entrevista y salir de esta sin importar nada, jamás se vio una entrevista fluida pues dudaba mucho de lo que tenía que decir o no sabía cómo defenderse, muchas otras especialistas también les paso lo mismo pero por suerte también hubo entrevistas ya más por un lado neutro.

También otra entrevista que me encantó fue otra extremista al punto de no respetar que fue un señor que tiene una tienda de objetos coleccionables de Star Wars, donde no quiere dirigirse a las personas que se sienten de una manera, como esa manera, sino que lo dirá como él lo ve, como sus ojos y su realidad lo perciben, si le piden que se dirija a esa persona como mujer pero él no lo ve así no lo hará y Matt también lo puso nervioso con sus preguntas haciéndonos ver que al final, y como siempre yo lo he dicho, el extremo es lo que hace daño.

Estos dos nombres son personajes que fueron nombrados en el documental por la Dra. Miriam que yo jamás voy a olvidar porque de verdad que son “celebridades” que inculcaron una ideología de la manera más repulsiva posible. El primer personaje tenía como concepto de “Los niños son sexuales al nacer”, como si eso debe ser algo normalizado y se debería buscar la manera de educarlos así siempre, y si asquerosa manera de comprobarlo fue con el abuso de muchos menores donde hasta en un libro mostró un cuadro de cuantas veces podría tener un orgasmo según la edad, e iniciaba con los 5 meses de verdad algo que me asqueo por completo.

Mientras más ves el documental, dependiendo de tu mentalidad o tu humor llega un punto que llamas a Matt transfóbico, porque piensas que quiere obligar a los transgéneros a que se definan a que elijan o digan lo que “son”, cuando en realidad el mensaje va más allá de eso, una de las frases del documental fue “Yo soy mis sentimientos” al preguntarse ¿Qué género eres? Y de verdad es muy bonita esa frase porque es cierto que muchos nacen en un cuerpo o con unos gustos que socialmente están muy marcados, pero no nos sentimos cómodos con ellos, pero también nos muestran como manipulan y se aprovechan de este sentir para vender medicamentos, para el gastar mucho dinero y aquí entra Scott Newgent.

Scott experimentó muchas infecciones con cada cirugía y contó cada consecuencia de lo que se hizo y al vivir todo esto decidió tratar de ayudar a todos los que estén pasando lo mismo, quieren transformarse y lo mejor es no pasar por lo mismo.

Desde ver hasta como este lío lo ven otra región completamente diferente, hasta ver como la propia familia de Matt se toma todo este documental, siento que no una pérdida de tiempo darle una buena ojeada a este documental para abrir los ojos un poquito y crear tolerancia, porque con esa tolerancia buscaremos que haya menos muertes de parte de menores o arrepentimientos de parte de gente poco informada y manipulada, les recomiendo ver este documental completo y por favor dejarme en los comentarios que les pareció, no pude evitar hacer este post, porque sentía que si lo dejaba para otro día olvidaría cosas importantes que vi.
From seeing how this mess is seen by a completely different region, to seeing how Matt's own family takes this documentary, I feel that it is not a waste of time to give a good look at this documentary to open our eyes a little bit and create tolerance, because with that tolerance we will look for less deaths of minors or regrets from uninformed and manipulated people, I recommend you to watch this documentary in full and please leave me in the comments what you thought, I could not avoid making this post, because I felt that if I left it for another day I would forget important things that I saw.
Algo extra y gracioso que quiero agregar a todo esto es que ya la serie South Park había hecho un capítulo hace años sobre este tema que lo toca, lo debate, le busca solución y problema en todo sentido de verdad, muy buen capítulo ¿Sabes cómo se llama? Espero les haya gustado el post, de verdad termine de ver el documental y me puse a redactar todo esto antes de ir al trabajo jaja fue genial.
