This is a story about a change of fate...

On Route 60, the hero encounters people who embody his shadow personalities...

I'm not sure if I've chosen the right term, so just in case, I'll write it like this - people who exhibit addiction, the same kind Neil could have had if he had taken a different path - unable to withstand his father's pressure, he entered law school, received an education, pursued a career that didn't align with his soul's calling, which could ultimately lead to dissatisfaction, apathy, and depression...

I think this would be a fertile ground for the proliferation of these destructive habits.

Now let's delve into those shadow aspects of human personality that the authors of this wonderful film embedded in the "character" of the characters that Neil encounters on Highway 60.

He meets:

  • Bob Cody (Chris Cooper), who carries a small bomb and is obsessed with truth-telling in its most advanced stage, just like lung cancer.

Mr. Cody: "And I love cigarettes. They say they cause cancer - and they do!"

Here, there's an obvious destructive habit like smoking and a less obvious (or perhaps it's a delusion, and only I see it this way) shadow aspect that Mr. Cody himself is unaware of because it's a lie... And he doesn't like liars.

Are there people who like being lied to? Raise your hand if you've never lied?

I think we all sin with this habit.

The most insidious lie, hidden in statements like these (quote from the movie):

  • The next person to stop Neil's red car is a woman who leads a promiscuous sexual life, a young and beautiful girl who reflects a dependence on casual sexual encounters, she "suffers" from a psychological disorder known as nymphomania.

I can't help but share the content of one of the comments I received yesterday -

"What happened is much more likely to happen again than to happen for the first time."

So the repetition of certain bad habits leads to a "fixed habit."

No wonder the Ministry of Health warns us - "Smoking is addictive - don't start smoking."

She offers Neil to have fun...
(He refuses, but would Neil have refused this woman if she hadn't told her story?

The duplicity of this story is striking - on the one hand, there are no criminals in the city at all, even "potential" criminals from all districts move here.

And that seems good.

And on the other hand, this system brings a lot of evil.

A perfect example of the unity of such "opposites" as good and evil.

Neil is also invited to join the merry local community and try drugs. But he refuses.

So there are two options for a negative life scenario, voluntary self-sacrifice and drug addiction.

  • A person who overeats.

Everything is clear here, love for food is also an addiction, satisfaction that is hard to deny.

So you always have to stick to the rule - "don't eat when you're not hungry," but how to stick to it when the appetite arises at the mere mention of that smell you feel when passing by your favorite bakery located in the city center?

  • Stop in the city of lawyers.

Here a whole city of people...

You have to watch the movie to enjoy the incredible fantasy of the authors who painted an incredible picture for us...
Manipulative lawyers, workaholics, competitors, scammers, brilliant businessmen have devised the perfect scheme to always have a job.

It is in their prison, in a cramped cold room more like a cave, behind a dirty window on which # is written, sits a beautiful fair-haired bird, a dream of the main character.

Ця історія про зміну долі…

По дорозі трасою 60, герой зустрічає людей які виражають його тіньові особистості…

Не знаю чі я правильно підібрала термін, тому на всякий випадок, напишу ось так - людей які мають проявлену залежність, таку саму яку міг би мати Ніл, якби пішов іншою дорогою - не зміг встояти перед натиском батька, вступив на юридичний факультет, отримав освіту, далі роботу , що не відповідала поклику душі, і в результаті могла б принести незадоволенність життям, апатію та депресію…

Думаю це було б гарним ґрунтом для проростання цих згубних звичок.

А тепер давайте розберемося з тими тіньовими аспектами людської особистості, які автори цього прекрасного фільму вклали в «характер» персонажів, що трапилися Нілові, на шосе номер 60.

Йому зустрічаються :

  • Боб Коді (Кріс Купер), який носить на собі невелику бомбу й одержимий правдолюбством в найзапущенішій стадії, так само як і раком легенів.

Містер Коді: А я люблю цигарки. Пишуть, що вони викликають рак – і викликають!

Тут очевидна така пагубна звичка як куріння і менш очевидний ( а може, це марево, і лише мені так здається) такий тіньовий аспект , про який сам містер Коді не здогадується, тому що це брехня… А він не любить брехунів.

Є люди які люблять коли їм брешуть ?)
Підніміть руку, ті хто ніколи не брехав ?

Думаю грішать цією звичкою всі.

Найкрутіша брехня, захована в подібних речах (цитата з фільму) :

  • Пошта Сполучених Штатів. Нам не байдуже.
  • О! Ці крутіші за всіх!
  • Наступна особа, що зупиняє червону машину Ніла - Людина, що веде невпорядковане статеве життя, це молода та вродлива дівчина яка відображує залежність від постійних одноразових статевих актів, вона «страждає» через таку психологічну хворобу як німфоманія.
    Глибока цитата з фільму -

німфоманка: Вперше був так собі. Я навіть подумала: І це все? І про це стільки пісень написано? Вдруге було трохи краще. Втретє це було вже щось. Четвертий — не такий добрий, як третій. Але як тільки я зробила цю достатню кількість разів, щоб порівнювати, я ніби збожеволіла.

Я не можу , не поділитися змістом одного з коментарів, який отримала вчора -

«Те що трапилось має значно більше шансів повторитись чим виникнути вперше»

Тож повторення певних поганих звичок, призводить до «зафіксованої звички».

Не дарма міністерство охорони здоровʼя доносить до нашої свідомості -
«Куріння викликає залежність - не починайте курити.»

Вона пропонує Нілу розважитися..
(Він відмовляє, чі відмовив би Ніл цій жінці, якби вона не розповіла свою історію?
І не сповістила його, що він у неї 1966)

Як дізнатися чі є в нас «схильність» до такої хвороби?

Ця красива дівчина, щедро ділиться своїм досвідом.

Знаєте що кажуть психологи?

Що всі хто зараз відчув протест, мають в собі пакетик з таким насіннячком.

Цікава теорія.
Гарно підходить до тексту.
Тому залишаю, на публічний розсуд.

  • Наступна зустріч Ніла була з матірʼю хлопця, що опинився в місті де, легалізовано наркотики, і куди як нічні метелики на вогонь, злітаються всі ті, хто, звідти вже не повернеться з цілими крильцями…

Мати жертвує своїм здоровʼям, і вже можу сміливо сказати - долею, і теж пробує наркотик, який їй пропонують прямо в відділку поліції.
(Туди вона прийшла, просити допомогу.
Її син не хотів повертатися додому. )

Перша спроба безкоштовна.
А далі - всі «вершки суспільства» в одному місті , всі при роботі, працюють і отримують заробітню плату наркотиками.

Ніхто не грабує магазини, не підстерігає перехожих в темних закутках - в надії, що в такий спосіб отримає гроші , котрі підуть на купівлю того, що вже на місці видають як заробітню плату…

Подвійність цієї історії вражає - з одного боку, в місті взагалі немає злочинців, сюди навіть переїжджають «потенційні» злочинці з усіх округів.

І це ніби добре.

А з іншого - ця система приносить багато зла.

Досконалий приклад єдності таких «протилежностей» як добро та зло.

Нілу також пропонують долучитися до веселої місцевої спільноти, і спробувати наркотик. Та він відмовляє.

Тож тут є два варіанти негативного сценарію життя, добровільна самопожертва та наркозалежність.

  • Людина, що переїдає.

Тут все зрозуміло, любов до їжі, це також залежність, задоволення в якому важко собі відмовити.

Тому завжди треба притримуватися правила - «не їж коли не голодний», але як його притримуватися , коли апетит зʼявляється при одній згадці того запаху що відчувається коли проходиш коло улюбленої пекарні , розташованої в центрі міста?

  • Зупинка в місті адвокатів.

Тут ціле місто людей…

Треба дивитися фільм, щоб насолодитися дивовижною фантазією авторів, що намалювала для нас неймовірну картину…
Адвокати-маніпулятори-трудоголіки- конкуренти-шахраї-геніальні бізнесМени розробили ідеальну схему, для того щоб вічно мати роботу.

Саме у їхній вʼязниці, в тісній холодній кімнатці, більше схожій на печеру, за брудним вікном, на яке поставлена # сидить прекрасна Білокура пташка, із снів головного герою.

Кінець або початок його старого чі нового життя.

І як же я хочу закричати на весь світ - фільми суцільна брехня.

Та в одному із своїх снів, я опинилася в великій офісній будівлі, де за головну була місс Медуза Горгона, якже вона кричала коли мене побачила….

Я переказую сюжет вже іншого фільму під назвою «Барбі».
