I believe in love, so much so! But do I believe in fate or the universe orchestrating special connections? I wouldn't have, until I saw "Meet Me Next Christmas". I watched and prayed, "let the universe send everyone a Teddy".

Summary of the plot.

This movie with a lighthearted touch features Christina Milian as Layla and Devale Ellis as Teddy. Layla is a woman who meets a man at the airport by chance, on Christmas Eve. They didn't give out their personal details but left their reunion up to fate. If they were meant to be together, then they would meet again at a Pentatonix concert come next Christmas Eve.

After a painful break-up with her boyfriend, Layla felt the universe was speaking, and therefore enlists the help of another man, a concierge, in her quest to find just one ticket, to make it to the Pentatonix, to reunite with the mystery guy from the last Christmas. Did she get one? You really need to watch this!

She got her happy ending! I loved that about the movie! The universe and fate did their "thing" for sure!

I loved the romantic scenes, it had the perfect balance of comedy and romance and I also loved the chemistry between Teddy and Layla. Their connection is undeniable and very infectious.
One of my favorite part was when Layla made James(the mystery guy) listen to the Pentatonix music in the Airport and when he promised her to be in New York City next Christmas.

The songs were wonderful, especially those performed on stage during the climax of the movie. They will get you grooving and wishing Christmas would never end, very beautiful voices, amazing music, Pentatonix it is!

A very good Christmas movie that ticks all the boxes, with the performance of Pentatonix being such a beautiful bonus.
The film doesn’t just shine in its lead performances; the supporting characters also add a lot of charm and humor to the story.

Meet me next Christmas was indeed a great movie to watch. Deville and Christina did justice to their characters. It was such a beauty that I wouldn't hesitate to rate it a 9/10.
