Tenía muchas ganas de escribir sobre esta nueva película de Netflix. Siempre le tengo miedo cuando quiero ver una nueva película de esta cadena de streaming. O sea, que sean ellos los la casa productora. Y es que normalmente estas producciones tienden hacer un poco locas, sin sentido, y muchas veces hasta de bajo presupuesto. En fin, me preparaba ayer para ver algo nuevo y entre las opciones encontré esta película titulada ¨Los Extraños¨
I really wanted to write about this new Netflix movie. I always dread it when I want to see a new movie from this streaming network. That is, that they are the production house. And normally these productions tend to be a little crazy, senseless, and many times even low budget. Anyway, I was getting ready yesterday to see something new and among the options I found this movie called ¨The Strangers¨.
A simple vista, parecía una gran película, una pequeña sinopsis que nos hablaba sobre una mujer con una vida privilegiada la cual empieza a desmoronarse con la llegada de dos extraños. Esa pequeña sinopsis me llamó la atención y entre tantas, me decidí por esta.
At first glance, it seemed like a great movie, a small synopsis that told us about a woman with a privileged life which begins to crumble with the arrival of two strangers. That little synopsis caught my attention and among so many, I decided to go for this one.
La historia prestaba un inicio con una mujer desesperada, lo que aparecer era un problema financiero y donde la misma la opción que vio fue huir de su realidad y buscar un nuevo comienzo. Lo que me supuse que iba a hacer una película casi de persecución, terminó siendo otra historia enredada de entender. De hecho, si miras el tráiler te venden una película psicológica y de sinceramente se veía muy buena esta nueva película.
In my opinion, the story of this new and terrible movie is not bad, just that there was not an adequate development of the actors for the story to develop in the best way. I wanted it to end at the 22nd minute of the movie and I was getting sleepy because of how heavy the movie was.
Normalmente, aquí estaría presentando los actores destacados, pero sinceramente y no es que sea actor, de seguro no lo haría bien, pero es que yo no estudié para hacer actor y como es que estos pueden llamarse así, actores. Los mismos nos presentan actuaciones muy patéticas en donde era muy complicado e imposible poder empatizar con algunos de ellos. Sus actuaciones fueron muy flojas. Ni hablar de los guiones, los que parecían de esos que realizaba para las tareas de Castellano.
Normally, here I would be presenting the outstanding actors, but honestly and not that I'm an actor, I'm sure I wouldn't do it right, but I didn't study to be an actor and how can these be called actors. They presented us with very pathetic performances where it was very complicated and impossible to empathize with some of them. Their performances were very weak. Not to mention the scripts, which seemed like those that were made for Castellano's work.
A mi parecer la historia de esta nueva y terrible película no me parece mala, solo que no hubo un desenvolvimiento adecuado de los actores para que la historia se desarrollara de la mejor manera. Quería que se acabara en el minuto 22 de la película y es que me estaba dando sueño por lo pesada que estaba la película.

Lo único que podría destacar es que la protagonista es una increíble egoísta y la que posee serios traumas. Y aun así, la actuación de Ashley Madek quien hace el papel de Cheryl quien es la mujer privilegiada de la que hablamos al principio. Y es extraño, no recuerdo haberla visto actuar tan mal. Creo que aquí el problema no fue tan solo de los actores sino de todos. Los escritores, productores, directores, TODOS.
The only thing I could highlight is that the main character is incredibly selfish and the one with serious traumas. And yet, the performance of Ashley Madek who plays the role of Cheryl who is the privileged woman we talked about at the beginning. And it's strange, I don't remember seeing her acting this bad. I think the problem here was not only with the actors but with everyone. The writers, producers, directors, EVERYONE.
Y ni hablar del final, el cual nos dejó con muchísimas dudas por aclarar. Un final casi que improvisado como toda la película. Mi opinión es corta, no pierdan sus 90 minutos de vida observando este nuevo fracaso de Netflix. No, no vale la pena.
And not to mention the ending, which left us with many doubts to be clarified. An almost improvised ending like the whole movie. My opinion is short, do not waste your 90 minutes of life watching this new Netflix failure. No, it's not worth it.
Como he dicho en anteriores publicaciones, esta es solo mi humilde opinión. Pero no sé si invitarlos a verla y que podamos compartir más adelante algunas opiniones sobre esta nueva y fracasada producción. Pero como he dicho, esta es mi humilde opinión. Puedes tener la tuya propia.
As I have said in previous posts, this is just my humble opinion. But I don't know whether to invite you to see it and we can share some opinions later on about this new and failed production. But as I said, this is just my humble opinion. You can have your own.

Bueno coincidimos en un punto, aun no he visto una pelicula donde Netflix sea la productora y que sea buena. Tengo mucho tiempo que no dedico a ver una película en esa plataforma, y con tu reseña menos vería esta jeje mas aun con tan pésimas actuaciones según describes.
No no, ni se te ocurra. Esto es por qué sentí la necesidad de avisarles ja ja ja....
The cover page of that movie gave me some attention at first and after checking through the post i realise it does not worth. Most movie would have been great if some of the actors in it give in all their best but actually not. Any movie that can make me fall asleep while watching is not worth it just like you've said
