Uno puede entender la historia de un país a través de dos elementos poderosos: La tradición de leer libros llenos de historia o las películas documentales. Lo último es casi lo que predomina hoy día, para conocer nuestros orígenes. En la actualidad, para aprender historia, nos formamos en las instituciones Educativas y además, tenemos la oportunidad de ver en línea películas históricas que muchas veces son aproximación de históricas realidades. Sin embargo, es menester indagar y contrastar estas producciones con la historia oficial y así poder construir nuestra propia verdad de los sucesos...
Me encanta mucho conocer sobre la Historia de mi país, pues, no se trata solamente de conocer sino de indagar para construir mi propia visión de la misma...

En el caso de Venezuela. Podemos analizar los avatares de una nación cuyos orígenes de independencia están llenos de personajes célebres de profesión militar. Varias biografías podríamos citar de personajes, desde Bolívar entre otros tantos; hasta finales del siglo xix; en esa etapa donde dicen que el padre Libertador, Parafraseando a Neruda: "Despierta cada cien años cuando despierta el pueblo..." Es así como conocemos la historia del presidente venezolano Cipriano Castro quien hace más de 120 años. Combatió cuál prócer defensor de la patria, los ataques de extranjeros y abofeteando a "La Planta insolente"
In the case of Venezuela. We can analyze the vicissitudes of a nation whose origins of independence are full of famous people with a military profession. We could cite several biographies of characters, from Bolívar among many others; until the end of the 19th century; in that stage where they say that Father Libertador, Paraphrasing Neruda: "He wakes up every hundred years when the people wake up..." This is how we know the history of the Venezuelan president Cipriano Castro who has been there for more than 120 years. Un personaje tan controversial, no podía pasar desapercibido. Pequeño de tamaño pero gigante de pasión con esa misma emoción, hizo posible que comandara a un ejército de andinos a través de la Revolución Restauradora y poder alzarse con el poder ejecutivo en la capital del país...
A principios del siglo xx. Venezuela sufría los embates de la burocracia y corruptela de los partidos tradicionales quienes tenían contactos con potencias extranjeras, las mismas que se aprovechaban del país y se llenaban los bolsillos haciendo a su vez que el pueblo se llenara más de miseria y pobreza... Es allí donde el sistema político se torna tan débil que es incapaz de sostenerse y un grupo de andinos pocos numerosos ante un ejército más cuantioso, logran hacerse del Poder.
En esta película de carácter histórico podemos ver las encrucijadas de Cipriano Castro. Un líder político que tuvo que enfrentar la traición de grupos elitescos, quienes se confabularon con alianzas e invasiones de potencias europeas. Resistiendo y reviviendo el espíritu nacionalista de todo un país...

En YouTube, ocurre un hecho inédito. Miles de vídeos de memes tienen millones de reproducciones y los vídeos con aportes educativos tienen si acaso decenas de visualizaciones. Esto nos indica que como sociedad, nos falta preservar y valorar nuestra memoria ciudadana. Uno puede ver tanto material de Historia de Venezuela y es una obligación como buen venezolano, conocerla, (Y bien lo volvemos a repetir) para no estar condenados a repetirla...
El único punto negativo de este relato es la calidad de imagen y el sonido las cuales son aceptables, ojalá subieran contenido de mayor calidad de alta definición porque con los colores y el sonido actual, la historia misma cobra mayor realismo y el espectador tiene una mejor experiencia por este género tan valioso y muchas veces poco valorado. Hasta la próxima, Dios les bendiga.

One can see so much material on the History of Venezuela and it is an obligation as a good Venezuelan to know it, (And we repeat it well) so as not to be condemned to repeat it...
The only negative point of this story is the image quality and sound which are acceptable, I wish they would upload higher quality high definition content because with the current colors and sound, the story itself becomes more realistic and the viewer has a better experience for this valuable genre and many sometimes undervalued.
