hello hello... this week I watched some anime movies (everyone who knows me knows that I usually consume that audiovisual content), some of them were very bad, but others were also very good, just like the one I'm talking about today. I had been looking for this feature film for a while (without looking for it), since it is by one of the Japanese directors that I like his work the most, Makoto Shinkai, since his works, although they contain fantasy, have something much deeper.

To start talking about this movie, first I must ask, is there an age for love or is it just a social prejudice, I ask this, because this is the way this story goes.

This anime tells the story of Takao, a student who since childhood was attracted to shoe design, and thought that being in school kept him away from his true dream, just for that reason, he made a decision, which leads him to meet Yukari, a woman older than him. Each, escaping from their reality, they spent a lot of time together, developing a feeling for each other. As in every love story, the support of the other made them understand their reality, facing their repressed fears.

Much of what happens in this film, is something that at some point we live, loneliness is something that sometimes comes to us without warning and we think we are comfortable, when the reality is that we repress something and do not want anyone else to notice it. Without realizing that socializing and being able to free ourselves from that burden we carry, would make us feel more relaxed and fulfilled.

I can't tell you more about the movie, because it's really short, about 40 minutes or so. I recommend skipping the credits, otherwise you will miss something interesting.

Talking about more general issues of the long film, at the level of animation is a 10 / 10, first because it came out in 2013 and its quality is very good, which unfortunately current films in this category, sometimes do not even exceed expectations. Its story, the truth is that... when we get carried away by social prejudices (more in Japan), we can pass by something to great people, that for some social reason, we do not give the opportunity and it is a story that repeats itself over and over again, more when age is in the middle.

The whole movie had a great balance, between scenes, landscapes, and sounds, that catch you in that climax. I must say that I give it a solid 7/10 In my opinion I feel that I was short on time and that maybe they could have added more moments. Being one of Makoto Shinkai's first releases, you could see that his future works that we now have, were going to be a total success.

hola hola... esta semana me vi algunas películas animes (todo el que me conoce sabe que por lo general consumo ese contenido audiovisual), que unas estuvieron muy malas, pero también otras muy buenas, justo como la que les vengo hablar el día de hoy. Tenía rato buscando (sin buscar) este largometraje, ya que es de uno de los directores japonés que más me gusta su trabajo, Makoto Shinkai, ya que sus obras, aunque contengan fantasía, tienen algo mucho más profundo.

Para comenzar hablar de esta película, primero debo preguntar, ¿para el amor existe edad o es solo un prejuicio social?, pregunto esto, por el hecho de que esta historia va asi.

Este anime cuenta como Takao, un estudiante que desde su infancia se sintió atraído por el diseño de zapatos, y pensaba que el estar en el colegio lo apartaba de su verdadero sueño, justo por eso, tomo una decisión, que lo lleva a conocer, Yukari una mujer mayor que él. Cada uno, escapando de su realidad, pasaron mucho tiempo juntos, desarrollando un sentimiento por el otro. Como en toda historia de amor, el apoyo del otro les hizo entender su realidad, enfrentando sus miedos reprimidos.

Mucho de lo que pasa en esta película, es algo que en algún momento nosotros vivimos, la soledad es algo que en ocasiones nos llega sin previo aviso y pensamos estar cómodo, cuando la realidad, es que reprimimos algo y no queremos que nadie más lo note. Sin darnos cuenta de que el socializar y poder liberarnos de esa carga que llevamos, nos haría sentir más relajados y plenos.

No puedo contar más de la película, porque realmente dura poco, unos 40 minutos aproximadamente. Que recomiendo saltar los créditos, porque o si no se van a perder de algo interesante.

Hablando ya de temas más generales del largo metraje, a nivel de animación es un 10 / 10, primero porque salió en el año 2013 y su calidad es muy buena, que lamentablemente películas actuales de este rubro, en ocasiones ni superan las expectativas. Su historia, la verdad que... cuando nos dejamos llevar por prejuicios sociales (más en Japón), podemos pasar por algo a grandes personas, que por algún motivo social, no le damos la oportunidad y es una historia que se repite una y otra vez, más cuando la edad está por medio.

Toda la película tuvo un gran equilibrio, entre escenas, paisajes, y sonidos, que te atrapan en ese clímax. Debo decir que Le doy un sólido 7/10
a mi criterio siento que me quede corto de tiempo y que quizás pudieron agregar más momentos. Siendo una de las primeras entrega de Makoto Shinkai, se veía que sus futuras obras que ahora tenemos, iban a hacer un total éxito.
