hola hola, hoy me vine con ganas de hablar de una de las películas que fue mi favorita en mi infancia. Ahora no es tan favorita, porque tengo otros gustos, aparte, que han pasado como 18 años desde la primera vez que la vi. Ahora de grande, me pongo a pensar en lo que me causaba este filme y me parece algo sorprendente. Sin más rollo, vamos al grano.

El día después de mañana; esta película es una gran referencia, que aunque estemos 100% seguros de algo, todo puede cambiar de un día para otro. Aquí podemos ver, que hasta los más expertos en un área, sus cálculos fallaron, tuvieron un gran error, y ese fue el tener la certeza que la naturaleza, no podía cambiar cuando ella lo quisiese, creando el peor desastre natural de la historia del mundo hasta ese momento. Pasaron desde terremotos, hasta maremotos, junto a una helada nunca antes imaginada, y desde aquí, es donde todo este film comienza a cobrar vidas...

Opino que con ese resumen, doy un preámbulo a toda la trama, porque desde este punto vemos a la ciudad de New York un lugar desolado. Lugar que antes era un completo caos por la velocidad en que trabajaban las personas. Era simplemente una masa blanca de puro hielo. Nuestro protagonista quería encontrarse con su padre, pero... antes de eso, debían cuidar a todos los que quedaron atrapados en una biblioteca.

La primera vez que vi esta película, recuerdo ser un niño, estaba con mis padres y hermana, era un día un poco caluroso, aunque cuando llego la helada en esta historia, la inmersión que tenía al verla me comenzó a dar frío.

Es tan insólito como pasaron las cosas en este film, que a esta edad me pregunto si en algún momento pudiera pasar tal calamidad. No es solo esta película, sino muchas otras donde, de cierta manera, la población se ve extremadamente reducida. Es muy probable que ya eso haya ocurrido en algún punto de la tierra, y si eso fue así, estoy seguro de que pudiera repetirse.

Esta película salió en el 2004, es decir que tiene caso 20 años y aún sigue siendo buena (aunque... los efectos especiales de ahora pues... todo es pantalla verde jajajaja ). Buscando para recordar quienes eran los actores, y solo conozco a 3, Jake Gyllenhaal (protagonista), Dennis Quaid (padre del protagonista) y Sela Ward (sé que era Dra., pero no recuerdo si estaba con el padre o el hijo). Luego de casi 2 décadas aún siguen siendo grandes actores.

Now it's not so favorite, because I have other tastes, besides, it's been about 18 years since the first time I saw it. Now that I'm older, I start thinking about what this film caused me and it seems to me something amazing. Without further ado, let's get to the point.

The day after tomorrow; this film is a great reference, that even if we are 100% sure of something, everything can change from one day to the next. Here we can see that even the most experts in an area, their calculations failed, they had a big mistake, and that was the certainty that nature could not change when she wanted it to, creating the worst natural disaster in the history of the world until that moment. They went from earthquakes to tidal waves, along with a frost never before imagined, and from here, is where this whole film begins to take lives...

I think that with this summary, I give a preamble to the whole plot, because from this point we see the city of New York a desolate place. A place that used to be in complete chaos because of the speed at which people worked. It was simply a white mass of pure ice. Our protagonist wanted to meet his father, but... before that, they had to take care of everyone who was trapped in a library.

The first time I saw this movie, I remember being a kid, I was with my parents and sister, it was a bit warm day, although when the frost came in this story, the immersion I had when watching it started to make me cold.

It is so unusual how things happened in this film, that at this age I wonder if at some point such a calamity could happen. It's not just this film, but many others where, in a way, the population is extremely reduced. It's very likely that this has already happened somewhere on earth, and if that was the case, I'm sure it could happen again.

This movie came out in 2004, so it's almost 20 years old and it's still good (although... the special effects nowadays... everything is green screen hahahaha ). Looking to remember who were the actors, and I only know 3, Jake Gyllenhaal (protagonist), Dennis Quaid (father of the protagonist) and Sela Ward (I know she was Dr., but I do not remember if she was with the father or son). After almost 2 decades they are still great actors.
