La Magia de un día cualquiera | Opinión [ESP-ENG]

No me considero una persona romántica, al menos no a modo público, pero obviamente hay algo de romanticismo en mí y por ende me gustan las películas de este género, así como "La Magia de un día cualquiera", donde desde el momento uno admiré y amé lo caballeroso de Ray, un joven granjero interpretado por "Skeet Ulrich", quien según yo, tiene un pequeño parecido a Jean-Claude Van Damme cuando era joven, quizás el perfil jajaja.

En el contexto de esta historia hay una guerra y son épocas en donde el guardar algunos principios o costumbres son importantes. Por ello, el papá de "Levy" una joven hermosa de Ciudad, decide enviarla al campo para que se case con Ray, alguien a quien ella jamás ha visto. "Keri Russell", es Levy, quien no solo debe casarse con alguien que no conoce, si no que debe afrontar el hecho de que su novio la abandonó estando embarazada y esto lleva a su padre a tomar tal decisión apresurada.

I don't consider myself a romantic person, at least not in a public way, but obviously there is some romanticism in me and therefore I like movies of this genre, as well as "The Magic of an ordinary day", where from the first moment I admired and loved the chivalry of Ray, a young farmer played by "Skeet Ulrich", who according to me, has a little resemblance to Jean-Claude Van Damme when he was young, maybe the profile hahaha.

In the context of this story there is a war and these are times where keeping some principles or customs are important. Therefore, the father of "Levy" a beautiful young girl from the city, decides to send her to the countryside to marry Ray, someone she has never seen. "Keri Russell", is Levy, who not only has to marry someone she doesn't know, but also has to face the fact that her boyfriend abandoned her while she was pregnant and this leads her father to make such a hasty decision.

Mi admiración y respetos para Ray 👏🏻. Creo que hoy en día es difícil conseguir hombre tan caballerosos como él, que sueñen con ser buenos esposos y padres, pero más allá de eso, es un hombre de valor, porque aun cuando puedan existir hombres como él, que sí los hay, para un hombre dejar su honor y aceptar una mujer que ya está embarazada de otro, no es algo fácil de hacer, y esto requiere valor.

En mi familia hay un caso como el de Levy y Ray, mi tío decidió darle la oportunidad a una mujer que esperaba un hijo de otro, la ayudó en un momento difícil de su vida y como está historia, amó a ese hijo como si fuera suyo, tanto o más que a los propios. Ray, en esta película nos muestra ser un hombre paciente, pero también con sus ideales y principios de crianza o historia claros, nos muestra que merece ser correspondido en el amor y poder conciliar tener su familia.

Por otra parte la historia con Levy es diferente, una mujer no olvida de la noche a la mañana a quien creía su amor y menos si lleva un hijo fruto de aquello en su vientre. Sin embargo las atenciones de Ray, el amor mostrado por toda la familia de Ray y el hecho de perdonarse a sí misma, la llevaran a tomar una decisión, que aunque creía no merecer a un hombre como Ray, y a pesar de querer huir, pudo ser agradecida por tanto amor y paciencia hacia ella y corresponder en esta nueva historia.

Una película que para ser de época, sencilla y sin tanto drama, te conecta y hace creer en el amor.

I think that nowadays it is difficult to find men as chivalrous as him, who dream of being good husbands and fathers, but beyond that, he is a man of courage, because even though there may be men like him, which there are, for a man to leave his honor and accept a woman who is already pregnant by another, is not something easy to do, and this requires courage.

In my family there is a case like Levy and Ray, my uncle decided to give the opportunity to a woman who was expecting someone else's child, he helped her in a difficult moment of her life and as this story goes, he loved that child as if it were his own, as much or more than his own. Ray, in this film shows us to be a patient man, but also with his ideals and principles of upbringing or history clear, he shows us that he deserves to be reciprocated in love and to be able to reconcile having his family.

On the other hand, the story with Levy is different, a woman does not forget overnight who she believed her love and even less if she is carrying a child in her womb. However, Ray's attentions, the love shown by Ray's family and the fact of forgiving herself, lead her to make a decision, that although she thought she did not deserve a man like Ray, and despite wanting to run away, she could be grateful for so much love and patience towards her and reciprocate in this new story.

A film that for a period film, simple and without so much drama, connects you and makes you believe in love.
