Saludos bellezas 🤗💕, espero que estén bien. Este fin de semana mi hija mayor (9 años), me invitó a ver una película de comedia adolescente.

Realmente lo que llamó mi atención y me llevó a ver Misfit, fue que Ammy me dijo que era una película grabada en Ecuador, el país donde vivimos actualmente y me contaba que la película tenía partes muy graciosas y también un poco tristes. Ella vió la película primero, así que me la recomendó e invitó a qué la viéramos juntas.

Greetings beauties 🤗💕, hope you are well. This weekend my oldest daughter (9 years old), invited me to watch a teen comedy movie.

Really what caught my attention and got me to watch Misfit, was that Ammy told me that it was a movie filmed in Ecuador, the country where we currently live and she was telling me that the movie had very funny parts and also a bit sad. She saw the movie first, so she recommended it to me and invited me to watch it together.

Misfit, "eres o te haces" trata de una adolescente la cual debe volver a Ecuador a causa del trabajo de su padre. Al ser menor de edad aún, aunque no quiera ir, no puede negarse y es así como Julia, interpretada por la actriz Mexicana Alicia Jaziz comenzará sin saberlo, una nueva historia.

La historia de Julia, es la historia de todo niño migrante, cuando se un día a otro y al pasar de muchos años, te dicen que deben regresar y esto ocurre justamente cuando ya has logrado adaptarte, como en el caso de Julia, ella había logrado ser popular en su escuela y tener un canal de Youtube con muchos suscriptores. Pero lamentablemente no todo en la vida es color de rosa o tal vez es de un mejor color.

Misfit, "eres o te haces" is about a teenager who must return to Ecuador because of her father's job. As she is still a minor, even though she does not want to go, she cannot refuse and that is how Julia, played by Mexican actress Alicia Jaziz, will unknowingly begin a new story.

Definitivamente está película es poco grosera para ser adolescente 😂, sin embargo muestra cosas que realmente pueden suceder, como el hecho de que un niño migrante al crecer y estar adaptado al nuevo país donde viva, se sienta más parte de ese país que del país donde nació. Julia se sentía "la gringa" y para su sorpresa en su nuevo colegio, que además es de mojas, le toca estar en el bando contrario, pero esto quizás no es del todo malo.

Tratar de ser alguien que no eres para poder agradar a otros y sentir que muchos te siguen, no es algo que Julia hubiera querido, así que le tocará conocerse a sí misma para saber que quiere. Entonces, viene la parte en la película donde cantan y esas cosas 😂, pero la verdad es muy poco y es solo una canción, que Julia, junto a Niko, uno de los "rechazados", preparan para participar en un concurso.

This movie is definitely not very rude for a teenager 😂, however it shows things that can really happen, like the fact that a migrant child growing up and being adapted to the new country where he/she lives, feels more part of that country than of the country where he/she was born. Julia felt she was "the gringa" and to her surprise in her new school, which is also a wet one, she has to be on the opposite side, but perhaps this is not all bad.

Trying to be someone you are not in order to be liked by others and feel that many follow you, is not something Julia would have wanted, so it will be up to her to know herself to know what she wants. Then, comes the part in the movie where they sing and stuff 😂, but the truth is very little and it's just a song, that Julia, together with Niko, one of the "rejects", prepare to participate in a contest.

Está película es dirigida y producida por Ecuatorianos, pero en ella participan actores de diferentes países de América, como México, Argentina y el mismo Ecuador, es grabada en una pequeña parte de Quito y utilizan algunas palabras típicas de este país, es decir coloquiales, así que esto también la hace más divertida e interesante.

La vida te puede enseñar que no siempre vas a tener lo que quieres o no, pero tú debes decidir si eres o te haces.

This film is directed and produced by Ecuadorians, but it involves actors from different countries of America, such as Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador itself, is filmed in a small part of Quito and use some typical words of this country, ie colloquial, so this also makes it more fun and interesting.

Life can teach you that you will not always have what you want or not, but you must decide if you are or you become.
