Mufasa: El Rey León | Opinión [ESP-ENG]

Algo que aprendí cuando estudiaba Derechos Humanos (DDHH), es que uno debe escuchar siempre las dos versiones de la historia o al menos la historia completa, para poder así luego, sacar alguna deducción y ese es el caso de esta película del Rey León, Mufasa.

Siempre fui muy fan del Rey León y supongo que como muchos, odiaba al tío Scar, por razones obvias, asesinó a su hermano Mufasa, el Rey de la selva, dejando así a nuestro favorito Simba, huérfano y desterrado, pero los fans sabemos que luego Simba regresa y toma su lugar en el ciclo de la vida. Lo que no sabíamos y bien contado, eran las razones por las cuales Scar actuó con tanta maldad, qué era eso que lo llevó a ser el villano, según las primeras películas de esta historia, pero esta, gracias Rafiki y nuestros amigos Timón y Pumba, conoceremos la raíz de todo, con la historia que le contarán a la pequeña Kiara, la cachorro de León de Simba, mientras él y la manada se van recibir a su nuevo cachorro que está por nacer.

Something I learned when I was studying Human Rights (HRD), is that one should always listen to both versions of the story or at least the whole story, in order to be able to then, draw some deduction and that is the case of this Lion King movie, Mufasa.

I was always a big fan of the Lion King and I guess like many, I hated Uncle Scar, for obvious reasons, he murdered his brother Mufasa, the King of the jungle, thus leaving our favorite Simba, orphaned and banished, but we fans know that later Simba returns and takes his place in the cycle of life. What we did not know and well told, were the reasons why Scar acted with so much evil, what was it that led him to be the villain, according to the first films of this story, but this one, thanks to Rafiki and our friends Timon and Pumba, we will know the root of everything, with the story that they will tell little Kiara, Simba's lion cub, while he and the herd go to receive their new cub that is about to be born.

No sé si esta historia era adecuada para Kiara, al ser apenas un cachorro y ademas al ser la nieta de Mufasa. Pues esta historia nos muestra una vez más, que muchas veces el villano no es malo, porque simplemente quiso serlo, si no porque alguien rompió su confianza y/o corazón. Y es que Mufasa, luego de quedar huérfano, sin una manada y lugar, fue ayudado en todo por Scar, quien entonces se llamaba Taka, un pequeño cachorro de León de linaje real un tanto temeroso e inseguro, quien consigue en Mufasa más que un amigo y apoyo, a un hermano. Vivieron muchas cosas juntos, en especial en la adultez, al punto de tener que migrar nuevamente y buscar la tierra con la que tanto soñaba Mufasa.

I don't know if this story was suitable for Kiara, being just a cub and also being Mufasa's granddaughter. Well, this story shows us once again, that many times the villain is not bad because he simply wanted to be, but because someone broke his trust and/or heart. And it is that Mufasa, after being orphaned, without a herd and place, was helped in everything by Scar, who was then called Taka, a small lion cub of royal lineage somewhat fearful and insecure, who gets in Mufasa more than a friend and support, a brother. They lived many things together, especially in adulthood, to the point of having to migrate again and look for the land Mufasa dreamed of so much.

Conozco a un señor mayor, que dice ser mi tío, siempre dice lo siguiente: "si dudas de algo, no lo hagas" y tiene razón, la duda es la alerta, llamando nuestra atención, pero como en el caso de la familia de Taka y pese al rechazo del Rey Ahadi, quien siempre le dijo a su hijo que algún día Mufasa lo iba a traicionar, y ¿saben qué? Ni yo le creí jajajaja.

Los líos de falda son el problema en esta película, según algunos y es que sí, si has visto el Rey León, seguro recuerdas a Sarabi, la madre de Simba. Pero más allá de ser líos de falda, creo que fueron líos de lealtad, donde sabes, que en la vida hay reglas no escritas, pero que por lealtad, por principios y en especial por agradecimiento a quien nos tiende la mano, no debemos romper. Y como dice otro amigo que también es un señor mayor: no hagas cosas malas, que parecen buenas. Y la enseñanza para nosotros es, que no vemos juzgar a nadie y menos sin conocer la historia.

I know an older gentleman, who claims to be my uncle, always says the following: "if you doubt something, don't do it" and he is right, doubt is the alert, calling our attention, but as in the case of Taka's family and despite the rejection of King Ahadi, who always told his son that someday Mufasa was going to betray him, and you know what? Even I didn't believe him hahahaha.

The upskirt messes are the problem in this movie, according to some, and yes, if you've seen the Lion King, you surely remember Sarabi, Simba's mother. But beyond being skirt messes, I think they were loyalty messes, where you know, that in life there are unwritten rules, but for loyalty, for principles and especially out of gratitude to those who reach out to us, we should not break them. And as another friend who is also an older man says: do not do bad things that seem good. And the lesson for us is, that we do not judge anyone and even less without knowing the history.
