Catch Me If You Can
This movie is truly a masterpiece and one of those movies that you will never get bored of even if you watch it several times The story is based on true events and it tells the story of Frank Abagnale Leonardo DiCaprio a young man who has an extraordinary talent for fraud and forgery.
Imagine someone who is still a teenager and is able to deceive banks airlines and hospitals and disguise himself as different characters without anyone suspecting him That is sometimes he is a pilot sometimes a doctor and sometimes a lawyer and all of this while he is still in his early twenties.
What makes the movie really enjoyable is the conflict between Frank and the federal investigator Carl Tom Hanks Carl tries to catch him by any means but he is always one step behind and this is what makes the events charged with tension and excitement and at the same time there are smart comedic moments and the relationship between these two may be the most enjoyable thing in the movie because even though they are enemies you feel that there is a strange mutual respect between them.
Of course Leonardo DiCaprios performance is impeccable it makes you sympathize with Frank even though he is a con man and you feel that he is not just someone running after money no he is escaping from a painful reality and wants to prove himself by any means Tom Hanks as usual plays the role of the cold but smart investigator who does not give up easily.
The directing is of course under the leadership of the genius Steven Spielberg and this man has a tremendous talent in making you eager for every scene with a wonderful soundtrack by John Williams that adds an atmosphere of adventure and drama to the film.
