Esta serie turca apareció en mi vida más trágico, recuerdo verla y llorar dolorosamente por las vivencias de cada personaje mientras yo me hundía en mi miseria entre las cuatro paredes de una residencia porque no tuve otra opción. En la soledad y pensando en lo dejaba atrás y lo que viví por tantos años.
El Sultán, también conocido con el título de: Magnificent century, es una serie tura que describe la historia de Suleimán, el Magnífico y todo lo que involucraba su poder, su familia, hijos, su imperio, y la forma que asumió el poder del Imperio Otomano a los 26 años de edad tras la muerte de su padre, que muchas veces se dijo fue asesinado.
Se especulan muchas cosas de la serie, de hecho fue vetada en su propio país muchas veces por describir o revelar los secretos del harem entre otras cosas por desviar un poco los hechos de la historia y hasta por contar la realidad, todo es muy complejo acá.
La serie sin dudas es una de las más millonarias que se ha producido en ese país, pasó por innumerables desafíos. Luego de terminar de verla, me paseé por las imágenes de cómo fueron hechas y me dí cuenta del por qué muchos de los actores decían que no podían continuar grabando. El clima, las horas interminables de grabación y los trajes super pesados, mas lo que demandaba cada uno de los personajes e cuanto a caracterización, requería demasiada energía. Sin embargo, luego de ver la familiaridad y comunión que hubo entre la gran mayoría, se las ingeniaron para motivarse y continuar.

This Turkish series appeared in my most tragic life, I remember watching it and crying painfully for the experiences of each character while I was sinking in my misery within the four walls of a residence because I had no other choice. In solitude and thinking about what I was leaving behind and what I lived for so many years.
The Sultan, also known by the title: Magnificent century, is a tura series that describes the story of Suleiman, the Magnificent and all that involved his power, his family, children, his empire, and the way he assumed power of the Ottoman Empire at the age of 26 after the death of his father, who was often said to have been assassinated.
Many things are speculated about the series, in fact it was vetoed in her own country many times for describing or revealing the secrets of the harem among other things for diverting a little the facts of the story and even for telling the reality, everything is very complex here.
The series is undoubtedly one of the most millionaire series that has been produced in that country, it went through countless challenges. After I finished watching it, I walked through the images of how they were made and I realized why many of the actors said they could not continue filming. The weather, the endless hours of filming and the super heavy costumes, plus what each of the characters demanded in terms of characterization, required too much energy. However, after seeing the familiarity and communion that existed between the great majority, they managed to motivate themselves to continue.

Lamentablemente no fue el caso de Hurrem interpretada por la actriz Meryem Uzerli quien además pasaba por una fuerte crisis personal, mental y emocional que le llevó un desmejoramiento notable en su salud, mientras que yo como espectadora aplaudía el realismo con lo que se veía el cansancio y agotamiento de sufrir tantas penurias, Hurrem se robó todo el show de la serie, porque es un personaje muy fuerte, Meryem Uzerli fue reemplazada por la actriz Vahide Perçin mostrando una sultana Hurrem un tanto mayor.
La serie turca tuvo un total de 4 temporadas con 139 episodios, se empezó a emitir en el año 2011 y culminó en el año 2014. Durante la serie vemos al inicio personajes muy jóvenes de ellos mismos como realmente son (hablo de los actores) y al final todo el ajetreo que vivieron durante el rodaje los hizo ver ancianos y bastante desmejorados.
Para mí fue impresionante esta serie, no solo por la producción millonaria, los trajes y la caracterización de los personajes donde cada actor fue estupendo en su papel, sino que amo la historia universal y saber que narraban parte de la historia del imperio otomano me atraía demasiado.
Hechos de la vida real que cuando un personaje sufría, yo no podía contener las lágrimas, porque se que la realidad fue más desgarradora aún.

Unfortunately it was not the case of Hurrem played by actress Meryem Uzerli who was also going through a strong personal, mental and emotional crisis that led to a noticeable deterioration in her health, while I as a viewer applauded the realism with which we saw the fatigue and exhaustion of suffering so many hardships, Hurrem stole the whole show of the series, because it is a very strong character, Meryem Uzerli was replaced by actress Vahide Perçin showing a somewhat older Hurrem Sultana.
The Turkish series had a total of 4 seasons with 139 episodes, it started airing in the year 2011 and culminated in the year 2014. During the series we see at the beginning very young characters of themselves as they really are (I'm talking about the actors) and at the end all the hustle and bustle they lived during the filming made them look old and quite faded.
For me this series was impressive, not only because of the millionaire production, the costumes and the characterization of the characters where each actor was great in his role, but I love universal history and knowing that they narrated part of the history of the Ottoman Empire attracted me too much.
Real life facts that when a character suffered, I could not hold back the tears, because I know that the reality was even more heartbreaking.

Hay cosas en la historia que me parecen tan injustas y muy raras pero después de entender el funcionamiento del imperio comprendí, no vi lógica tener un harem con tantas concubinas, tener tantos hijos para que al final uno de ellos hereda y el resto fue asesinado, ver el dolor de cada madre perder a sus hijos me afectó demasiado porque para ese tiempo, a mí me habían alejado de los míos y fue aplastante, la depresión la llevaba al galope.
Hurrem hizo más historia que el propio sultán aunque gobernó de una manera muy justa y próspera, rompió esquemas y leyes y estableció cosas muy buenas para su pueblo, mientras que su favorita Hurrem con la que llegó a casarse, mostró ser una real gobernante con mano dura y fiel a su sultán.
Toda la historia se basa en complots, en dormir con un ojo abierto y otro cerrado porque no sabes en qué momento alguien te traiciona y termina siendo ejecutado. Llegué a pensar que ejecutaban gente hasta por respirar.
Las batallas son impresionantes en sus escenas, realmente buenas y la musicalización, todo a la altura de una producción millonaria y los trajes majestuoso.
Hablando de Hurrem: Durante las escenas podía ver la fuerza del personaje, siempre con ira, gritos, enfrentando como una leona a todo el que le llevara la contraria, protegiendo a sus hijos de los ataques de las otras concubinas y me preguntaba mucho si esa ira que mostraba y todo eso no terminaba afectando a la protagonista, cuando avancé en las siguientes temporadas me llevé la sorpresa desagradable que me cambiaron de actriz intérprete de Hurrem, porque esta era muy diferente en personaje, luego investigué que Meryem Uzerli había renunciado por cuestiones de salud.
Esta serie en definitiva tienes que verla, porque a partir de esta podrás entender otras, hoy estoy viendo la continuación del legado, con uno de los nietos de Suleimán a quien correspondió el poder, sin embargo sucede nuevamente que la atención se centró más en una de sus concubinas como: La sultana Kosem que cuando terminé por supuesto contaré mi experiencia.
No podría hablar de Kosem sin hablar hablado un poco de la historia de Suleimán, así que aquí va mi primera reseña. Espero les guste.

Hurrem made more history than the sultan himself although he ruled in a very fair and prosperous way, he broke schemes and laws and established very good things for his people, while his favorite Hurrem whom he came to marry, showed to be a real ruler with an iron fist and faithful to her sultan.
The whole story is based on plots, on sleeping with one eye open and one eye closed because you don't know at what moment someone betrays you and ends up being executed. I even thought they executed people for breathing.
The battles are impressive in their scenes, really good and the music, all at the height of a millionaire production and the majestic costumes.
Speaking of Hurrem: During the scenes I could see the strength of the character, always with anger, screaming, facing like a lioness to anyone who took her against her, protecting her children from the attacks of the other concubines and I wondered a lot if that anger that showed and all that did not end up affecting the protagonist, when I advanced in the following seasons I got the unpleasant surprise that they changed the actress interpreter of Hurrem, because this was very different in character, then I investigated that Meryem Uzerli had resigned for health issues.
This series definitely you have to watch it, because from this one you can understand others, today I am watching the continuation of the legacy, with one of the grandsons of Suleiman to whom corresponded the power, however it happens again that the attention was focused more on one of his concubines as: Sultana Kosem that when I finished of course I will tell my experience.

Esta serie es excelente. No la termine de ver, pero tiene un elenco maravilloso. Un día.
Es una situación muy compleja. Hay producciones donde se sobre exige a los artistas y termina en un agotamiento quebrantador. Por más que la historia sea única y conecte, siempre hay que ceder y dejar plazos para que los artistas descansen. Nunca he visto una serie turca, seria interesante.
Querido, tienes toda la razón más que duraron mas de 4 años grabandola y pude leer que el trabajo pasaba de las 10 horas continuas... con razon al final lucian delgados y mas ancianos aunque fue bien porque obvio que mostraban a los personajes en edad avanzada. Creo que los más notables fueron Sumbul y Hurrem porque ellos salian todos los episodios nunca descansaban, Suleimán también se le notaba mucho el cansancio y yo asimilaba que era el personaje como tal...
