A movie Saturday

This year the Cuban Institute of Art and Cinematographic Industry (ICAIC) celebrates its 65th birthday and a series of activities are being carried out to commemorate this date.

Among these activities is the screening of films of various nationalities throughout the country.

In Havana, the capital of Cuba and the place where I currently reside, films have been shown in the main cinemas of the country. On this occasion we decided to wait until Saturday, because my husband works, to see the Mexican movie Luna Negra that was being shown at the Acapulco movie theater, one of the main ones in the capital and which has allowed us to enjoy so many film screenings.

It was a complicated day and I thought I could not make it because these days the weather in Cuba is quite difficult because the cyclonic season has started and, according to the forecasts of the Institute of Meteorology, it will be a very intense season.

For this reason I left home early, to have enough time to buy ballots and avoid the rain to prevent me from arriving on time.
When I arrived I asked permission to see in the lobby of the cinema, part of the cinematographic work of the country in some posters they have there, to admire part of the actors and actresses who have delighted us with their performances and I took the opportunity to take pictures and leave graphic evidence of this moment.

At 5pm the movie started and I was already sitting in my seat. I must say that it is a theater that maintains an impressive care and has a very good comfort and that is why I come back again and again.

After enjoying the movie, giving it all kinds of positive and negative reviews I waited for a local bus to take me back home, to continue with my household chores.

It was a different and very profitable Saturday because I got out of the house, I had fun, I learned and I was able to share with people I did not know and have the best time possible.
