And recently a new Jason Statham movie has come out which promises to give us a lot in the way of action but also focused on the theme of justice. Beekeeper is one of those movies that you see and you feel a sense of satisfaction when Jason Statham takes the reins and does justice at the end. Besides the methods he uses are extremely impressive and the way in which he uses something very simple and simple or even ordinary as being a beekeeper makes it a death sentence.

Y recientemente ha salido una nueva película de Jason Statham la cual promete darnos bastante en el tema de acción pero también enfocada en el tema de la justicia. Y es que Beekeeper, es una de esas películas que ves y sientes una satisfacción cuando al final Jason Statham toma las riendas y hace justicia. Además que los métodos que usa son sumamente impresionantes y la manera en la que usa algo sumamente simple y sencillo o hasta ordinario como ser un apicultor lo convierte en una sentencia de muerte.

Clay is a lonely man who lives in a woman's barn in the country. Although Clay has a dark past as part of a very powerful organization called the beekeepers, although nowadays after retiring, Clay makes a living as a real bee keeper and has a nice friendly relationship with his landlady, Eloise. But everything gets complicated one day when some computer fraudsters manage to steal from Clay's landlady all the money he has worked for all his life and even more than 2 million dollars that were destined to a charity. So Eloise, desperate, ends up taking her own life because she doesn't know what to do. So now clay has to look for those responsible for the death of her friend and make them pay for what they have done in addition to discovering a whole network of corruption that will take him to a place you least expect.

Pero para saber porque esta nueva película de Jason Statham es toda una bomba tendremos que hablar un poco de lo que es su trama y lo que ofrece esta increíble película, y la trama va de la siguiente manera.

Clay es un hombre solitario que vive en el granero de una mujer en el campo. Aunque clay tiene un pasado oscuro como parte de una organización muy poderosa que se denomina los apicultores, aunque en la actualidad luego de jubilarse, Clay se gana la vida como un apicultor real de abejas y tiene una bonita relación de amistad con su casera, Eloise. Pero todo se complica un día cuando unos estafadores informáticos logran robarle a la casera de clay todo el dinero que ha trabajado toda su vida e incluso más de 2 millones de dólares que estaban destinados a una organización benéfica. Así que Eloise desesperada, termina quitándose la vida ya que no sabe qué hacer. Así que ahora clay tiene que buscar a los responsables de la muerte de su amiga y hacerlos pagar por lo que han hecho además descubrir toda una red de corrupción que lo llevará a un lugar que menos te lo esperas.

In my personal opinion it is a pretty excellent movie if you have seen other Jason Statham movies like for example the mechanic you will know that it is a pretty similar plot, since in this play he is a man who tries to go unnoticed since he is retired but has a pretty shady past with the knowledge of some pretty outstanding skills. In the mechanic is approximately the same story only with a different twist since in the mechanic Jason stathan is a hired killer who works discreetly and clandestinely as a hitman. But all these movies where Jason Statham stars where he plays the role of a totally ordinary or unnoticed character there is always some trigger that starts Jason Statham's path of revenge.

I also liked that they addressed the issue of telephone or internet scams as it is something quite common and recurrent especially in the elderly. As we can see in the movie Eloise suffered one of these scams and had a very tragic end. Something that unfortunately happens in real life as seniors have worked tirelessly for a lifetime to have enough money for their retirement but due to monsters that live in society that only want to hurt others instead of working hard. They end up extinguishing the dreams or efforts of many people.

En mi opinión personal es una película bastante excelente si has visto otras de Jason Statham como por ejemplo el mecánico sabrás que es una trama bastante similar, ya que en esta play es un hombre que trata de pasar desapercibido ya que está jubilado pero que tiene un pasado bastante turbio con el conocimiento de unas habilidades bastante sobresalientes. En el mecánico es aproximadamente la misma historia solo que con un giro diferente ya que en el mecánico Jason stathan es un asesino a sueldo que trabaja de forma discreta y clandestina de sicario. Pero todas estas películas donde actúa Jason Statham donde ocupa el rol de un personaje totalmente común o desapercibido siempre hay algún detonante que inicia el camino de venganza de Jason Statham.

Además me gustó mucho que abordaran el tema de las estafas telefónicas o por internet ya que es algo bastante común y recurrente especialmente en personas de la tercera edad. Como podemos ver en la película Eloise sufrió una de estas estafas Y tuvo un final bastante trágico. Algo que muy lamentablemente pasa en la vida real ya que las personas de la tercera edad han trabajado toda una vida incansablemente por lograr tener el dinero suficiente para su retiro pero debido a monstruos que viven en la sociedad que únicamente quieren hacerle daño a los demás en vez de esforzarse por trabajar duro. Terminan apagando los sueños o esfuerzos de muchas personas.

That is why many people choose to take justice into their own hands as we see in the movie clay. Of course, in real life if you take justice into your own hands you can end up in jail and thieves or thugs can end up free and with a very large compensation, in short, a totally upside down world.

A third point that stood out in this film is the twist in the plot at the end of the film, honestly I was extremely surprised to see this twist in the plot to see the background of the whole system of corruption really was something totally unexpected but quite surprising of course that as I mentioned before also happens in real life in many countries around the world. Only that many times we do not get to know these cases or they do not come to light.

Además el tema de la justicia es algo que destaca en esta película ya que si abordamos a la justicia tradicional vemos que está totalmente corrompida o es bastante ineficiente. Por eso es que muchas personas optan por tomar la justicia por sus propias manos como vemos en la película que hizo clay. Claro aunque en la vida real si llegas a tomar la justicia por tus propias manos puedes terminar preso y los ladrones o malandros pueden terminar libres y con una indemnización muy grande, en fin un mundo totalmente al revés.

Un tercer punto que destacó de esta película es el giro en la trama ya al final de la película, honestamente quedé sumamente sorprendido al ver este giro en la trama al ver el trasfondo de todo el sistema de corrupción de verdad que fue algo totalmente inesperado pero bastante sorprendente claro eso como ya he mencionado antes también pasa en la vida real en muchos países del mundo. Solamente que muchas veces no llegamos a conocer estos casos o no salen a la luz.
