The new Netflix production starring and produced by Sofia Vergara is out. And although this type of series about narcos or criminal life that try to put as if it were something admirable the heinous crimes that these people committed, are not my favorite. Due to the high expectation that this series has had and how people are reacting to it, I wanted to watch it and see what it is about and although I repeat I do not absolutely support this type of series. I do find it extremely interesting the way Sofia Vergara as an actress performs in this new facet leaving a masterpiece of acting on her part embodying one of the most bloodthirsty and powerful women in the world of drug trafficking in Miami in the 70's.

Now the plot of this miniseries is relatively simple as it tells Griselda Blanco's story of how she fled the perversions she suffered in Colombia, and found in the United States the opportunity to forge her own empire and a fearsome name. Griselda Blanco was known by various aliases such as the black widow or the godmother of cocaine was a Colombian drug trafficker and criminal founder of the powerful Medellin cartel.But in the series we can see the most vulnerable parts of Griselda Blanco and what motivated her to get involved in this criminal life.As seen in the series, what motivated her was to give a better life to her children and herself, which is why she had a great idea to sell drugs to millionaires in Miami, which was an unexplored terrain that left her with many powerful alliances as well as very powerful enemies.

Ya salió la nueva producción de Netflix protagoniza y producida por sofía vergara. Y aunque este tipo de serie sobre narcos o la vida criminal que tratan de poner como si fuera algo admirable los crímenes atroces que estas personas cometieron, no son mis favoritos. Debido a la alta expectación que esta serie ha tenido y cómo la gente está reaccionando a ella, pues quería verla y ver de qué se trata y que aunque repito no apoyo absolutamente este tipo de serie. Sí me parece sumamente interesante la manera en que Sofía Vergara como actriz se desenvuelve en esta nueva faceta dejando una obra maestra de la actuación de su parte encarnando a una de las mujeres más sanguinarias y con mayor poder dentro del mundo del narcotráfico en Miami en los años 70's.

Ahora la trama de esta miniserie es relativamente sencilla ya que cuenta la historia de Griselda blanco de cómo huyó de las perversiones que sufría en Colombia, y encontró en Estados Unidos la oportunidad de forjar su propio imperio y un nombre temible. Griselda blanco fue conocida por distintos alias como la viuda negra o la madrina de la cocaína fue una narcotraficante y criminal colombiana fundadora del poderoso cartel de Medellín. Pero en la serie podemos ver las partes más vulnerables de Griselda blanco y lo que la motivó a poder involucrarse de lleno esta vida criminal. Como se ve en la serie lo que la motivó fue darle una mejor vida a sus hijos y a ella misma Por lo cual tuvo una gran idea de venderle droga a las personas millonarias en Miami que era un terreno para nada explorado el cual le dejó muchísimos beneficios alianzas poderosas así como enemigos muy poderosos.

I like how the series reflects a human side of this feared lady, as in some episodes you can see how she suffers and cries of despair. Also Sofia Vergara in the face the more perverse side of Griselda where by set of power and revenge she did whatever it took to achieve her goals. We can also see how her enemies betrayed her and tried to kill or harm her family. Something that caught my attention was that Walter Blanco from the Colombian imitation of Breaking Bad appears as one of the main mobsters who supports Griselda on her way to the top.

Now as for the ending of the series I'm not going to say any spoilers since I'll give you the opportunity to watch it and give your opinion. But I find it extremely interesting how the series tries to see the reality of this criminal world where although it can give you fame money power or all the things that people believe is to succeed in life, sadly leaves a huge void and more suffering than joy. Because at the end of the series we can see how so many things that Griselda did made such a huge impact on her that she lost a lot.

Me gusta como la serie refleja un lado humano de esta temida señora, ya que en algunos episodios se puede ver como ella sufre y llora de la desesperación. También Sofía Vergara en cara el lado más perverso de Griselda donde por set de poder y venganza hacía lo que fuera para lograr sus objetivos. Además podemos ver cómo la sus enemigos la traicionaron trataron de asesinar o hacerle daño a su familia. Algo que me llamó muchísimo la atención fue que Walter blanco de la imitación colombiana de breaking Bad aparece como uno de los mafiosos principales que apoya a Griselda en su camino a la cima.

Ahora en cuanto al final de la serie no voy a decir ningún spoiler ya que te daré la oportunidad de que tú puedas verla y dar tu opinión. Pero me parece sumamente interesante cómo la serie trata de ver la realidad de este mundo criminal donde aunque te puede dar fama dinero poder o todas las cosas que las personas crean que es triunfar en la vida, tristemente deja un vacío enorme y más sufrimientos que alegrías. Porque ya al final de la serie podemos ver como tantas cosas que Griselda hizo le hicieron una repercusión tan enorme que perdió muchísimo.

So that was one of the things that encouraged me to review the series and first of all I was encouraged to watch it because the series does not glorify the criminal actions of this lady as other series do where they put the drug dealers or drug dealers as if they were heroes. But we see that this series sticks very much to the reality of the consequences that this life brings. And although I personally had never heard absolutely nothing about Mrs. Ana Griselda Blanco, it seems to me something very tragic the way she died because if we look at Wikipedia she died in a very horrible way for a lady of her age.

So that's my opinion about this new Netflix miniseries. I consider it an excellent way to show how these people's lives are not pleasant at all and it only brings one suffering after another. And I also really liked Sofia Vergara's performance since as I mentioned before it is a new and quite impressive facet of her since I personally had never seen a production of Sofia acting this way or playing a role like this. And I would also like to clarify that the soundtrack was pretty good.

Así que se fue una de las cosas que me animó a hacer una reseña de la serie y en primer lugar me animo a verla ya que la serie no glorifica del todo las acciones criminales de esta señora como si lo hacen otras series donde lo ponen a los traficantes o los narcos como si fueran héroes. Pero vemos que en esta serie se apega muchísimo a la realidad de las consecuencias que trae esta vida. Y aunque personalmente nunca había escuchado absolutamente nada de la señora Ana Griselda blanco, me parece algo muy trágico la manera en que murió ya que si buscamos en Wikipedia murió de una manera muy horrible para una señora de su edad.

Así que esa es mi opinión sobre esta nueva miniserie de Netflix. Considero que es una excelente manera de mostrar cómo la vida de estas personas no es nada agradable y que solamente trae un sufrimiento tras otro. Y también me gustó muchísimo la actuación de Sofía Vergara ya que como mencioné antes es una nueva faceta bastante impresionante de ella ya que personalmente nunca había visto una producción de Sofía actuando de esta manera o interpretando un papel como este. Y también me gustaría aclarar que el soundtrack estuvo bastante bueno.
