En esta fecha siempre bastante habitual ver películas decembrinas o con un mensaje navideño. Y una de las clásicas que no puede faltar nunca es Home alone protagonizada por Macaulay Culkin, donde se cuenta como Kevin un niño de una familia numerosa se queda abandonado en las fiestas navideñas y trata de sobrevivir tanto a la soledad como a las desgracias. Me gustaría hablar de este gran clásico ya que es algo que prácticamente todo el mundo ha visto, hasta mi abuela de 72 años la ha visto y es fan de Macaulay Culkin. Así que hablemos de las dos películas a la vez ya que pareciera que tuvieran una continuidad y ambas películas se relacionan mucho entre sí.

Home alone 1:

La primera de estas dos películas comienza con Kevin mcallister un niño que vive en una familia donde tiene muchos hermanos y donde su familia está planificando las próximas vacaciones navideñas. Y aunque todo pudiera parecer perfecto la verdad es que la vida de Kevin es un infierno ya que constantemente sus hermanos mayores y demás familiares le hacen bullying y lo tratan muy feo así que uno de los deseos de Navidad que pide Kevin es poder estar solo en la casa y que todos desaparecieran. Lo cual se cumple ya que en una mañana donde se están preparando todos para salir de viaje por accidente no se dan cuenta de que Kevin está con ellos y lo dejan solo en la casa. Cuando Kevin se despierta piensa que su sueño se ha cumplido y que su deseo se hizo realidad así que empieza a disfrutar de la soledad que se vive en su casa empieza a comer a comprar y hacer fiestas para él solo en toda su casa. Aunque su paz se vea interrumpida ya que el sentimiento de soledad lo ahoga Pero además dos ladrones que constantemente estaban robando casas se hacen llamar los bandidos mojados planean robar la lujosa casa de los mcallister. Así que Kevin tiene que armarse de valor para poder defender A capa y espada su casa y también encontrarse de nuevo con su familia.

Home alone 2:

Como mencioné antes este es como una continuación de la primera ya que ocurre una situación similar un año después en las siguientes vacaciones navideñas Pero en esta ocasión no se queda Kevin solo en la casa sino en la gran ciudad la que es llamada Nueva York. Y todo ocurre porque por un descuido del mismo Kevin de perder a su familia en el aeropuerto termina tomando un avión a un destino totalmente opuesto al que tomó su familia. Pero aunque Kevin está solo en esta gran y peligrosa ciudad cuente con la tarjeta de crédito de los padres con una grabadora y su ingenioso cerebro para poder resolver cualquier problema. Además Kevin se enfrenta nuevamente a los dos ladrones de la primera película que han escapado de la cárcel y ahora se hacen llamar los bandidos pegajosos. Así que Kevin tiene que usar su ingenio en la ciudad de Nueva York para perderlos y así poder salvar su vida ya que estos bandidos quieren tomar venganza por haber hecho que los metieran en la cárcel.

And although everything might seem perfect the truth is that Kevin's life is hell because his older brothers and other relatives constantly bully him and treat him very ugly so one of Kevin's Christmas wishes is to be able to be alone in the house and that everyone would disappear. This is fulfilled because one morning when everyone is getting ready to leave for a trip, they accidentally don't realize that Kevin is with them and leave him alone in the house. When Kevin wakes up he thinks that his dream has come true and that his wish came true so he begins to enjoy the solitude of his house and starts to eat, shop and have parties all alone in his house. Although his peace is interrupted as the feeling of loneliness suffocates him But also two thieves who were constantly robbing houses call themselves the wet bandits plan to rob the mcallister's luxurious home. So Kevin has to gather his courage in order to defend his home with all his might and also to meet his family again.

Home alone 2:

As I mentioned before this is like a continuation of the first one since a similar situation happens a year later in the following Christmas vacations but this time Kevin is not left alone in the house but in the big city which is called New York.And everything happens because of an oversight of Kevin himself of missing his family at the airport he ends up taking a plane to a destination totally opposite to the one his family took.But even though Kevin is alone in this big and dangerous city, he counts on his parents' credit card with a tape recorder and his ingenious brain to solve any problem.Plus Kevin is again confronted by the two thieves from the first movie who have escaped from jail and now call themselves the Sticky Bandits.So Kevin has to use his wits in New York City to lose them in order to save his life as these bandits want to take revenge for getting them thrown in jail.

Como comenté al principio estas películas son clásicos icónicos de la televisión en estas fechas recuerdo que cuando estaba en la escuela y salía de vacaciones estas dos películas las ponían aproximadamente cuatro veces a la semana las repetían de nuevo en un maratón el 24 de diciembre y otra vez el 31 de diciembre así que por experiencia puedo decir que me sé todos los diálogos de estas películas. Literalmente las compañías televisoras se encargaron de exprimirla hasta más no poder, Pero esto también hizo que se consagrara como un clásico decembrino de películas algo Que obviamente no puedes obviar en estas fechas.

Además pienso que el papel de Macaulay Culkin en ambas películas fue sumamente icónico realmente representa a todos los niños en esa edad ya que todos llegamos a tener una imagen una imaginación bastante asombrosa igual que la de Kevin y un ingenio por resolver cosas y hacer trampas tal cual como lo hizo Kevin. Además destaco de esta película que te enseña valores fundamentales, ya que aunque Kevin estaba harto de su familia por tantas cosas malas que le hacían al final aprendió a valorarlos y a extrañarlos, lo cual nos hace reflexionar y pensar de que aunque una familia hayan muchos problemas siempre es necesario conservar el amor y la unidad para poder solventar todos los problemas que se avecinan. Además la idea de que se te pierda un hijo de esa manera o que lo dejes olvidado en la casa durante las vacaciones familiares es una idea bastante random pero que Dios justo en el punto ya que alguna vez en la vida pensamos que eso pudiera pasar con alguno de los hijos.

As I mentioned at the beginning these movies are iconic classics of television at this time of the year, I remember when I was in school and went on vacation these two movies were shown approximately four times a week, they were repeated again in a marathon on December 24 and again on December 31, so from experience I can say that I know all the dialogues of these movies. Literally the TV companies were in charge of squeezing it to the max, but this also made it become a classic Christmas movie, something that obviously you can't skip at this time of the year.

I also think that Macaulay Culkin's role in both movies was extremely iconic and really represents all children at that age since we all got to have a pretty amazing imagination just like Kevin's and an ingenuity to solve things and cheat just like Kevin did. I also highlight that this movie teaches you fundamental values, because although Kevin was fed up with his family for so many bad things they did to him in the end he learned to value them and miss them, which makes us reflect and think that even if a family has many problems it is always necessary to preserve the love and unity to solve all the problems that lie ahead. Besides, the idea of losing a child in that way or leaving him or her forgotten in the house during family vacations is a pretty random idea, but God is right on point, since at some point in life we thought that this could happen with one of our children.

Para concluir esta reseña y opinión sobre esta película, pienso que es un clásico que nunca morirá incluso si yo tengo 40 años y ya mis hijos tienen hijos seguirá apareciendo esta película en la televisión en esta época decembrina, y de la misma manera no seguiremos riendo con las ocurrencias y las travesuras de Kevin mcallister.
