NOWHERE | Movie Review 🎥🍿

¡¡Gracias a Dios ya es viernes!!

Luego de una semana de trabajo ardua y agotadora, buscaba algo para relajarme y poder entretenerme, y así poder despejar la mente. Así que revisé la interminable lista de películas que tenía por ver, que tanto han recomendado en la comunidad, y era el turno de Nowhere, una película española que esta muy trending en Netflix y básicamente en todas las redes sociales, así que decidí darle la oportunidad y así poder dejar mi opinión al respecto, y bueno, vaya que opinión causo en mi este peliculón.

Ya que te puedo anticipar que, si eres una persona sensible, pues esta película no es para ti, ya que pasan unas escenas tan crudas de dolor humano que bueno ni siquiera yo pude verlas. Pero esto no es una crítica a la película, más bien, es un comentario de que es una película que demuestra al ser humano de una manera excepcional tratando de sobrevivir. Pero no digas que no te advertí.

After an arduous and exhausting work week, I was looking for something to relax and entertain me, so I could clear my mind. So I reviewed the endless list of movies I had to see, that have been recommended so much in the community, and it was the turn of Nowhere, a Spanish movie that is very trending on Netflix and basically in all social networks, so I decided to give it a chance and so I could leave my opinion about it, and well, what an opinion this movie caused in me.

I can anticipate that if you are a sensitive person, this movie is not for you, because it has such raw scenes of human pain that even I couldn't see them. But this is not a criticism of the film, rather, it is a comment that it is a film that shows the human being in an exceptional way trying to survive. But don't say I didn't warn you.

La trama de Nochera no es algo alejado de la realidad, en un futuro no muy lejano, la tierra se ha quedado sin recursos, y los países luchan por ellos, pero los que más se ven afectados son las personas en las grandes ciudades, como en España. Donde el Régimen (Un gobierno al muy estilo de Hitler) toma el control del país e impone un régimen estricto de supervivencia, donde primero se eliminan a todas las personas mayores que no pueden producir, y luego como la crisis no baja, eliminan a los niños, bebes y mujeres embarazadas. Ya que así piensan que se consumirían menos recursos y la humanidad puede sobrevivir.

The plot of Nochera is not something far from reality, in a not too distant future, the earth has run out of resources, and countries fight for them, but those who are most affected are the people in big cities, as in Spain. Where the Regime (A Hitler style government) takes control of the country and imposes a strict regime of survival, where first they eliminate all the elderly people who can not produce, and then as the crisis does not go down, they eliminate children, babies and pregnant women. This way they think that less resources will be consumed and humanity can survive.

Pero esta pelea por los recursos no es algo de solo de España, supuestamente es algo a nivel mundial y en casi todos los lugares se matan niños y ancianos. Así que todas las personas están desesperadas por salir de España a países donde las normas contra las embarazadas y los niños no sean tan estrictas. Y ese lugar segun la película es irlanda, así que nuestros protagonistas deben huir desesperadamente de España en contenedores hacia Dublín para poder estar tranquilos y poder tener a su bebe, que por cierto huyen porque Mia la protagonista principal está embarazada. Asique nuestros protagonistas están huyendo como de contrabando, pero son separados y el contenedor donde va Mia es capturado por soldados del régimen, así que ella queda sola, pero cuando está en el barco que va a Dublín, hay una fuerte tormenta que hace que el contenedor donde este caiga al mar, y ahora deba luchar por su vida y la de su hija para poder estar a salvo.

But this fight for resources is not just a Spanish thing, it is supposedly a worldwide thing and almost everywhere children and old people are being killed. So all the people are desperate to get out of Spain to countries where the rules against pregnant women and children are not so strict. And that place according to the movie is Ireland, so our protagonists must desperately flee Spain in containers to Dublin to be able to be calm and to be able to have their baby, which by the way they flee because Mia the main protagonist is pregnant. So our protagonists are fleeing as smuggling, but they are separated and the container where Mia goes is captured by soldiers of the regime, so she is left alone, but when she is on the ship going to Dublin, there is a strong storm that makes the container where it falls into the sea, and now she must fight for her life and that of her daughter to be safe.

Como mencione al principio es una historia muy dura, pero sobre todo por lo que le pasa a Mia, es increíble lo que hace para sobrevivir y cuando tiene un accidente saliendo del container es algo sumamente doloroso, incluso ahora que estoy escribiendo eso me duele mucho pensar en eso que le ocurrió. Así que no es una película muy fácil de ver tienes que ser todo un valiente. Pero me encanta todo lo que hacen los padres por mantener seguros sus hijos, a veces hasta sacrificios sobre humanos para darles lo mejor.

As I mentioned at the beginning it is a very hard story, but mostly because of what happens to Mia, it is incredible what she does to survive and when she has an accident getting out of the container is something extremely painful, even now that I am writing that it hurts me a lot to think about what happened to her. So it's not a very easy movie to watch you have to be all brave. But I love everything parents do to keep their children safe, sometimes even super human sacrifices to give them the best.

Ahora en cuanto a los actores, pues no los había visto ante (y si los vi pues no me acuerdo) pero ellos personifican muy bien el dolor y desespero al 100%, Pero Mia que se llama Anna Castillo es icónica. Otra cosa que destacó es el juego con las cámaras dentro del contenedor y las tomas aéreas cuando quieren mostrarlos solo en el océano, son muy buenas y también lo es toda la desesperación que vive Mia con su Bebe.

Pero esta definitivamente si es una película que recomiendo para ver, ya que es emocionante, llena de suspenso y sobre todo ofrece una increíble trama. Now as for the actors, I had not seen them before (and if I saw them I don't remember) but they personify the pain and despair very well 100%, but Mia, whose name is Anna Castillo, is iconic. Another thing that stood out is the game with the cameras inside the container and the aerial shots when they want to show them alone in the ocean, they are very good and so is all the despair that Mia lives with her Bebe.

But this is definitely a movie that I recommend to see, because it is exciting, suspenseful and above all offers an incredible plot.
