El día de ayer para poder descansar de una semana bastante ajetreada. Me dispuse a ver una película con la familia de mi esposa y estábamos viendo una película nueva que ha salido donde Denzel Washington es el actor principal y la trama básicamente va de la investigación de un asesino serial. La verdad la película me encantó ya que tiene ese misterio y suspenso típico de las películas de Denzel Washington. Así que me puse a pensar cuáles son las mejores películas de este actor? Ya que tiene una larga trayectoria en el cine bastante impecable y que vale la pena analizar y comparar sus mejores películas. Es por eso que en esta publicación trataré de mencionar cuáles son las tres mejores de él y esto es según mi opinión personal. Yesterday in order to take a break from a busy week. I went to see a movie with my wife's family and we were watching a new movie that has come out where Denzel Washington is the main actor and the plot is basically about the investigation of a serial killer. I really loved the movie because it has that mystery and suspense typical of Denzel Washington movies. So I got to thinking what are the best movies of this actor? Since he has a long career in film quite impeccable and it is worth analyzing and comparing his best films. That is why in this publication I will try to mention which are the three best of him and this is according to my personal opinion. Para poder entrar en materia vamos a tratar de explicar una pequeña reseña de cada película y luego daré mi opinión de por qué pienso que son las mejores de la carrera de Denzel Washington. Quiero aclarar que todas las imágenes tienen su fuente de donde las tomé y también mencionar que esta publicación es una de las mejores que he hecho sobre reseñas de películas o de actores, ya que desde siempre me han gustado las películas de Denzel Washington.

In order to get into the subject we are going to try to explain a little review of each movie and then I will give my opinion of why I think they are the best of Denzel Washington's career. #1 Training Day:

Training day fue la primera película que vi de Denzel Washington, y la verdad me gustó mucho la manera en que él interpreta a un policía corrupto ya que de cierta manera el papel encaja perfectamente con él. Además la manera en que trata de corromper a Jake para que también sea igual que él es asombrosa. Esta película aunque fue muy buena me dejó cierto mal sabor de boca ya que no trataron de retomar la historia nuevamente aunque posiblemente he leído que hay una secuela que aún no se ha confirmado, pero donde estaría Michael b Jordan como protagonista principal.

Algo interesante de las películas de Denzel Washington es que normalmente actúa como el bueno pero en esta ocasión y la verdad he visto muchas películas de él es una de las pocas ocasiones donde actúa como el antagonista principal de la película, logrando robarse la atención de los espectadores ya que cuando tenemos la idea de verla pensamos que va a hacer el bien. Son estas entre algunas otras más que esta película ocupa el primer lugar como una de las tres mejores que considero de la filmografía de Denzel Washington, ya que es bastante impresionante y hasta la fecha no ha habido otra película que supere a esta.

Training day was the first movie I saw of Denzel Washington, and I really liked the way he plays a corrupt cop because in a way the role fits him perfectly. Also the way he tries to corrupt Jake to be just like him is amazing. This movie although it was very good left me with a bad taste in my mouth since they didn't try to pick up the story again although I have possibly read that there is a sequel that has not been confirmed yet, but where Michael b Jordan would be the main protagonist.

Something interesting about Denzel Washington's movies is that he normally acts as the good guy but this time and the truth is that I have seen many of his movies, it is one of the few occasions where he acts as the main antagonist of the movie, managing to steal the attention of the viewers because when we have the idea of seeing it we think he is going to do good. These are some of the reasons why this film ranks as one of the three best films I consider in Denzel Washington's filmography, as it is quite impressive and to date there has been no other film that surpasses this one.

#2 Saga The Equalizer:

Esta es una saga de acción y suspenso protagonizada por Denzel Washington como Robert McCall, un hombre retirado con un pasado misterioso, es una historia llena de acción, suspense y emoción. Es una oda a la justicia y a la redención, donde un hombre atormentado por su pasado busca encontrar la paz ayudando a los demás y a limpiar la maldad y corrupcion del lugar donde llega.

This is a saga of action and suspense starring Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, a retired man with a mysterious past, is a story full of action, suspense and emotion. It is an ode to justice and redemption, where a man tormented by his past seeks to find peace by helping others and to clean up the evil and corruption of the place where he arrives.

El puesto número 2 se lo lleva la saga de El justiciero, una saga bastante increíble y necesaria en la filmografía de Denzel Washington, ya que nos presenta como un simple hombre con ciertas habilidades puede lograr mucho más de lo que cualquier agencia de justicia puede hacer. La trama es bastante simple un hombre retirado que busca calmar su conciencia de todas las cosas que ha hecho a lo largo de su vida por su país, ayudando a quien lo necesite en las tres películas podemos ver que ayuda a tres diferentes clases de personas en la primera a una chica que está obligada a trabajar para la mafia rusa como una prostituta, en la segunda vemos que imparte justicia a su querida amiga de la agencia que ha sido asesinada brutalmente, y en la tercera película vemos que le da justicia a todo una vecindad en Italia. Sin duda bastante memorable.

Otra cosa que me gusta no solamente de esta saga del justiciero sino de todas las películas de Denzel Washington en general es que siempre el villano es bastante memorable. Por ejemplo en El justiciero 1 vemos que el villano principal es un ejecutor o sicario principal de la mafia rusa, y el actor Marton Csokas le dio la orientación y la actitud correcta a este protagonista que hace el mal. En la segunda parte vemos cómo es Pedro Pascal el villano principal y también es bastante memorable frío y calculador. Y en la tercera no es solamente un villano sino que es una mafia de villanos pero de entre los que destaca Andrea Scarduzio como jefe de la mafia criminal bastante brutal y violento.

Así que en las películas en las que ha trabajado Denzel Washington siempre nos ha traído historias sólidas con grandes personajes detrás, y es por eso que la saga del justiciero ocupa el segundo lugar entre las mejores de la filmografía de este increíble actor.

The number 2 spot goes to The Vigilante saga, a pretty incredible and necessary saga in Denzel Washington's filmography, as it presents us how a simple man with certain skills can achieve much more than any justice agency can do. The plot is quite simple a retired man looking to ease his conscience of all the things he has done throughout his life for his country, helping whoever needs it in the three films we can see him help three different kinds of people in the first a girl who is forced to work for the Russian mafia as a prostitute, in the second we see him deliver justice to his dear friend from the agency who has been brutally murdered, and in the third film we see him give justice to an entire neighborhood in Italy. Certainly quite memorable.

Another thing I like not only about this vigilante saga but all Denzel Washington movies in general is that always the villain is quite memorable. For example in The Vigilante 1 we see that the main villain is an enforcer or main hitman of the Russian mafia, and the actor Marton Csokas gave the right direction and attitude to this evil-doing protagonist.In the second part we see how Pedro Pascal is the main villain and he is also quite memorable cold and calculating. And in the third one he is not only a villain but he is a mafia of villains but of which Andrea Scarduzio stands out as a rather brutal and violent criminal mafia boss.

So in the films in which Denzel Washington has worked he has always brought us solid stories with great characters behind, and that is why the vigilante saga ranks second among the best in the filmography of this incredible actor.

La tercera película que cierra el ciclo de las mejores películas de Denzel Washington es déjà vu una película que no solamente juega con tu mente ya que puede confundirte por los giros en la trama sino que muestra la realidad cuando se fusiona con la ficción, ya que el tema de la ciencia y los viajes en el tiempo se interpone primordialmente en la trama de esta película y de igual manera como ya mencioné antes en esta también hay un villano bastante memorable.

Estamos hablando del actor Jim Caviezel, que actúa como el antagonista principal y su papel es como un terrorista que busca mantener el orden causando caos y desolación. Además los diálogos que tiene son bastante profundos e intimidantes y su manera de actuar tan fría y calculadora hace que se gane el puesto como un villano memorable.

The third film that closes the cycle of Denzel Washington's best films is déjà vu a film that not only plays with your mind as it can confuse you by the twists in the plot but it shows reality when it merges with fiction, as the theme of science and time travel is primarily interposed in the plot of this film and likewise as I mentioned before in this one there is also a quite memorable villain.

We are talking about the actor Jim Caviezel, who acts as the main antagonist and his role is as a terrorist who seeks to maintain order by causing chaos and desolation. In addition the dialogues he has are quite deep and intimidating and his way of acting so cold and calculating makes him earn his place as a memorable villain.

Claro en la filmografía de Denzel Washington también hay algunos bonus que no mencioné ya que no son películas con las que me he relacionado mucho pero sí considero que son igual de increíbles y geniales como para ponerlas en un top más amplio.

Estoy hablando de películas como el hombre en llamas barreras american gangster Eli el libro de los secretos pequeños secretos los siete magníficos el plan perfecto el coleccionista de huesos tiempo límite rescate en el metro 123 y el embajador del miedo. También su películas bastante memorables pero como era únicamente un top 3 no puedo ahondar mucho más en ellas 🤣🤣
