Captain America Brave New World: Was It Worth The Hype

Hello movie lovers, its another day on this beautiful earth and I am here to bring to you again one of the film everyone was expecting and was hype about. Today, I watch the film "Captain America: Brave New World" Was it worth the hype it was given? Well, you will have to read to find out.

We all know how hype we can be especially when one of favourite producer is releasing a film and it's about a hero. The name "Captain America" means a lot to many fan and it's a symbol that should be protected. In Captain America: Brave New World, we got to see the hero "Falcon" play the role of Captain Ameria.

The film was directed by Julius Onah. After Steve Rogers gave Falcon his shield in Avengers: Endgame, I was expecting a movie for the new Captain America already.

In this film, Captain America (played by Anthony Mackie) is grappling with the weight of his newfound responsibilities and he was also asked to be the leader of the new Avengers; this was proposed by the President of the United States, who didn't know he was the Red Hulk. The film also covered some parts of the Marvel film "Eternals," and the whole storyline was around taking the metal that was left behind by the Eternals.

One of the standout aspects of Captain America was the fact that a scene from one of the Marvel films, "Incredible Hulk," which was released in 2016, was used in the film, which makes me question which Hulk was used in all of the "Avengers" series. The film's pacing is expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of high-octane action sequences and quieter, more introspective moments.

The cast delivers solid performances across the board, with Anthony Mackie shining as the new Captain America. His portrayal brings a fresh perspective to the character while still honoring the spirit of Steve Rogers. I love that we got a new falcon, and he was a funny guy, smart, and techie guy.

Visually, the film is stunning, with breathtaking action sequences and impressive visual effects. The cinematography is equally impressive, capturing the gritty, grounded feel of the Marvel Universe.

However, there were so many unnecessary scenes that were hard to understand, like which of the Hulk was the blood gotten from, why was the incredible Hulk not used in Avengers, and how the new Captain America got to take the Red Hulk punches without the Super Soldier serum.

Personally, I feel the film was rushed and they didn't give the fans what they wanted. The hype for the film was high but after fans watched it, the hype died immediately. This is what happens when producers make movies without reaching out to fans and understanding what they want. Honestly, I hope Iron Man doesn't come back as Dr. Doom.

Overall, Captain America: Brave New World is a triumphant return for the Marvel Cinematic Universe but they need to work on the storyline if not they would begin to lose their fans.

If you're a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then you have to watch it to catch up for the new film that would be produced. If I am to rate the film, I would give it a 6/10. If you think otherwise, you can let me know your thoughts in the comment.

Thanks for reading.

I haven't seen this movie yet but Captain America is not my special kind of Hero. If it was Thor, Captain Marvel or Doctor Strange, then it might have interested me😁

I might still set out Tim to watch it though and see what the hype was all about.
