Hello movie lovers, it's another amazing week for the Cinetv contest, and this week, we are to talk about our favorite childhood movie. I won't lie. I grew up in the means of ladies, which means my favorite childhood movies will be influenced by what they watch. I am a man, and I would talk about what I watched the most while growing up. Many people might laugh at me now, but no one laughed at me when I was younger.

Growing up, I watched many cartoons, and one of my best was the Barbie collection. Thinking of writing about it now was funny because there were a lot of them and I don't know the one to write about so I would just write a general review on the ones I can remember.

For many children like myself, the Barbie film series is more than just a collection of movies - it's a gateway to a world of imagination, adventure, and self-discovery. As a child, I was enchanted by the iconic blonde-haired, blue-eyed doll and her various on-screen escapades. I can't believe I bought one of those doll for myself. (In tears right now) But even after a long time, the Barbie films remain a beloved and nostalgic part of my childhood. I will make sure my daughters watch it, it's giving the princess vibes.

The Barbie film series includes over 30 films. From fairy tale adaptations like "Barbie in the Nutcracker" (2001) to original stories like "Barbie: The Princess & the Pauper" (2004), the series offers a diverse range of narratives that cater to children's varied interests. I remember when she was a butterfly, a mermaid, a musician, a princess, a hero and many more.

One of the standout aspects of the Barbie films is their ability to promote positive values and messages. Many of the movies I watched talks about the importance of friendship, kindness, and perseverance, encouraging young viewers to develop these essential life skills. More reason why I want my future daughters to watch it. The films also celebrate individuality and self-expression, showcasing Barbie's various personas and careers, barbie has a lot of things that can inspire a lot of kids.

Did I enjoy watching it while growing up, my answer is yes and I would recommend it to any child out there. There are a lot of different cartoons out there now that pass different kinds of messages a parent wouldn't want their children to have but the Barbie collection is a whole lot more different.

In conclusion, the Barbie film series is a timeless and captivating collection of movies that have become an integral part of many children's lives, including mine. As an individual, I would recommend this to all parents out there with beautiful princesses, give this to your children let them watch and see the positive influence it will have on them.

Thanks for reading.

Okay
I laughed
Barbie? 🤣 😂
Well, I can totally understand growing up with girls and how they influenced you.
Mine is the opposite but I still made out time for my preferences.

I don't think Barbie is a film that anyone should laugh at just cause you're a guy who watched it. The Barbie franchise was that impactful. So many delightful movies in it that had a great deal of value. Whoever didn't see it has clearly missed out on something wonderful. This was a beautiful read, Fash.

Thanks for reading but now a days people will laugh a guy even a small boy that’s watching it saying it’s for ladies.

At first, I laughed, because I'd never actually seen men that liked barbie growing up. 🤣 But oh well, I am a twenty something years old woman right now and I still watch barbie to bed once in awhile because it helps me sleep better.
The magic and as you've rightfully said, timelessness in Barbie animations is just amazing. It's quite sad that modern Barbie lacks the magic of the Barbie we grew up watching.

heheheheh, I know someone will laugh. Lol

My sisters influenced me. Anyway, I enjoyed the series growing up and you are right. They don't do barbie like they use to, I still prefer the old collections.
