Hello movie lovers, welcome to another CineTv contest week, this week we are to talk about a thrilling movie we have watched that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I searched for movies like this but none have made me feel the way the contest described it until recently when I remember a movie I watched a very long time ago. It was popular back then in 2007 which I believe some of you might remember it. I lie to you not when I tell you "Prey" is the movie for this contest.

"Prey" is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, I can promise you that. Directed by Darrell Roodt, this film tells the story of a family's terrifying encounter with a pride of lions in the African savannah.

The movie follows Tom Newman, a wealthy businessman who wants to take his family to Africa to experience wildlife and see real-life lions and other animals living in the jungle. Along with his wife, their teenage daughter, and their son, Tom hopes to reconnect with his family and escape the stresses of his high-pressure job.

However, their little sweet vacation turned to a horrific event that would probably keep them away from Africa for a long time. Getting to the country where they were to spend their vacation.
Everything was looking great until they went into the savannah with a zebra-looking car.

The car got stuck in the savannah due to a minor accident which made the car stop moving. At that point, the little boy wanted to pee, so he had to step out of the car with their guide who had a rifle with him, while a few meters away from the car, peeing he found a lioness looking straight at him. It was one of the most terrifying moments in the film. Luckily for the boy, he got back into the car but unlucky for the guide, he met his end at the hands of the lions and that was when it dawned on them they were in grave danger. The car wasn't moving, the guide was dead, and they didn't know their way out. They were stuck inside their car.

One of the standout aspects of "Prey" is its ability to create tension and suspense. The film's pacing is expertly crafted, with a slow build-up of tension that culminates in a heart-pounding climax. The special effects are also impressive, with convincing CGI lions that add to the film's sense of realism.

There were moments they they had to get the car key, the rifle, and pee too. Things that had to get them out of the car, a time when Tom had to rush to get something on the field and rush back to the car with a lion chasing him.

The cast delivers solid performances, with Tom bringing a sense of gravitas to the sense that a father would do anything for his family. "Prey" is a well-crafted thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With its stunning African landscapes, heart-pounding action sequences, and strong performances, its a film you should see if you get the chance. Yes, that's me recommending it to you.

If I were to rate this film, I would rate it 9/10. You know me very well, I don't give a point to a film that doesn't deserve it but I am telling you, this deserves a 9/10 from me and I am sure you will agree with me once you watch it.

Thanks for reading.

This is my entry for the #civetvcontest.
