Good morning, anime watchers and manga readers. it's another day to explore the world of dark fantasy kind of anime and the anime we would be exploring its depth today is
Death Note

One of the reasons I love this anime is because of the reality it brings to the screen. It has the ability to provoke some thoughts within the viewers, making them question if what the protagonist was doing was right or wrong. It also allows me to ask myself, "How far can I go to achieve a better world?"
The anime "Death Note" is a thought-provoking anime series that raises important questions about morality, justice, and the nature of power. It's an anime that makes you wonder if you also have a demon living inside of you, waiting for you to attain a certain level of power.
The story of "Death Note" is the story of Light Yagami, a genius high school student who attains the power over death and was granted the ability to decide who dies based on what they have done or the crime they committed.
At the beginning of this anime, I saw potential in the ideas of the protagonist, "Light Yagami," because I also live in a corrupt country just like everyone else, where criminals with connections go free after committing an offense, where politicians do things without even thinking of the masses and so on. If I had a power like this, I would get rid of all these bad people. That was my thought until I saw how far Light Yagami was willing to go to achieve his goal.
Light's was just a normal high school kid but he wasn't thinking like one; he was a genius and you can tell that from his actions. His goal was to create a world without crime, and he believes that the ends justify the means. While his intentions may seem noble, his methods are undeniably barbaric. The death of his father and other innocent people are tragic consequences of his actions, and his manipulation of Misa Amane, his girlfriend, is disturbing.
Do I have what it takes to act like this? This is more like selling my soul to the devil to create a perfect world. The part that got to me the most was the part where he had the wife of the officer or victim kill herself because he was trying to cover his tracks. Crazy, right?
This anime made me question a lot of things, like, "Can a good outcome be achieved through bad actions?"
If you are watching "Death Note" you would see that Light's actions challenge the people watching it to consider the complexity of morality and whether it's possible to achieve justice through violent means.
At a point in the anime, I saw that some good can come from bad actions, but can we really call it bad actions if the results are good? This is the kind of world many people are living in currently.
Another amazing part of this anime is the introduction of "L" He is another genius who was out to get the person killing people supernaturally and I can tell you, L was a very smart character. I love his character development and how he was able to discover the truth before his death.
If I had the power Light Yagami had, would I have found a less negative way of achieving my goal? At a point, Light lost his way and he wasn't chasing justice like he was doing in the beginning; he was now biased and was just following his own method of justice.
This is what happens when people are given power over other people's lives: they tend to lose their way.
In conclusion, "Death Note" shows us that the path of violence and manipulation can lead to devastating consequences. Light's actions create a cycle of violence and retribution, and the anime raises questions about whether it's possible to escape this cycle. Even after his death, another Light Yagami will come.
If you are a lover of dark fantasy anime, with deep meaning to every actions and words said by the characters, then I would recommend Death Note for you. It's time you see the world in a different way and I would rate this anime a 9.5/10. This is because it touches different areas of life and it changes the perspective of its viewers.

Thanks for reading
I also enjoyed
Shingeki no kyojin. It’s one of my favorite too
One thing I love about anime is that
It teaches a lesson and those are the kind I love to watch
Undoubtedly, it is one of the most veteran animes and with more weight of the industry, well deserved because it is incredible. Good analysis and post! 💗
Thanks for the comment

Que locura, la idea de tener un monstruo dentro de nosotros es un concepto que da para mucho, y tú lo explicas muy bien la verdad
I’m glad I was able to bring light to what happened in the anime
