The plot of Dune is very great, I haven't seen either of the two but I remember the one from the 80s very well, obviously nothing to do with the visual quality of these new installments. When I learned that there are several novels that deal with this universe, I was amazed, I had no idea about it, readers will perhaps enjoy it a lot and will be more immersed in many things that we still do not know.

Certainly those who have read the novels can immerse themselves much more in the plot, but I tell you that the way the movie script is written allows you to perfectly understand everything that is happening.
