Hello friends, I hope you are very well, I am going through a lot of misfortunes, one after another but I am firm in what I do, so I want to share a portrait of the actor Cillian Murphy as Robert Oppenheimer, other than that it is for me the movie of the year, and I draw it because I feel represented by the astrophysicist who discovered the atomic bomb. I have not made contributions to science like him, but at present I am going through a bad moment that I hope will improve soon. I chose one of the promotional images of the film, where the weight of the consequences of his actions can be seen in the actor's eyes, a tragic hero, like the ancient Prometheus.

Hola amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, yo pasando un montón de desgracias, una tras otra pero firme en lo que hago, así que quiero compartir un retrato del actor Cillian Murphy como Robert Oppenheimer, demás esta decir que es para i la película del año, y lo dibujo porque me siento representado por el astrofísico que descubrió la bomba atómica. No he hecho aportes a la ciencia como él, pero en la actualidad paso por un mal momento que espero mejore pronto. Escogí una de las imágenes promocionales de la película, donde se puede ver en los ojos del actor el peso de las consecuencias de sus actos, un héroe trágico, como el antiguo Prometeo.

I started using a school version Faber Castell wax pencil, in some youtube videos there are great cartoonists who most of the time use professional colored pencils, but I always try to use colors that are within reach. I think that in this way people are more interested in learning to draw when they see that they can do it with anything. For the face I drew an oval that I then shaped and in the middle I made a division where I took the measurements for the eyes, nose and lips.

Comencé utilizando un lápiz de cera de la marca Faber Castell versión escolar, en algunos videos de youtube existen grandes dibujantes que la mayoría de veces utilizan lápices de colores profesionales, pero yo siempre trato de usar colores que estén al alcance. Creo que de esta manera las personas se interesan más por aprender a dibujar al ver que lo pueden hacer con cualquier cosa. Para el rostro tracé un óvalo que luego le di forma y en la mitad hice una división de donde tome las medidas para los ojos, nariz y labios.

After having each part of the face measured, I begin to shape the eyes, the actor Cillian Murphy has very light eyes that stand out in his pale face, I think it is the plus for his performance, as they say out there, the eyes are a reflection of the soul. In the same way, I shape the nose and lips, using the same wax pencil, which would be the equivalent of a 4H graphite pencil.

Después de tener cada parte del rostro medida comienzo a darle forma a los ojos, el actor Cillian Murphy posee unos ojos muy claros que resaltan en su pálido rostro, creo que es el plus para su actuación, como dicen por ahí, los ojos son reflejo del alma. De la misma forma, doy forma a la nariz y los labios, utilizando el mismo lápiz de cera, que sería el equivalente de un lápiz de grafito 4H.

In the next step I change the color to white, here I use white charcoal which is a more intense color, this color is not difficult to find, in any school supply store. This pencil serves to intensify those places where the light has more reflection, and it is as I say, part of the magic of the line.

En el siguiente paso cambio de color blanco, aquí utilizo carboncillo blanco que es un color más intenso, este color no es dificil de conseguir, en cualquier tienda de artículos escolares. Este lápiz sirve para intensificar aquellos lugares donde la luz tiene más reflejo, y es como yo digo, parte de la magia del trazo.

Now you can see how I gave volume to the whole face, I wanted to make it look like a low key photograph, one of the ones I like the most and that helps the gloomy environment. It would only be necessary to paint the hat and finished work.

Ahora pueden observar como fui dando volumen a todo el rostro, quise lograr que luciera como una fotografía low key, unas de las que más me gustan y que ayuda al ambiente sombrío. Solo faltaría pintar el sombrero y trabajo terminado.

Finally I did some details like the cigar, the collar of the shirt and part of the suit and to finish the hat that Robert Oppenheimer always used and that suits the actor Cillian Murphy very well, that's how it was finished.

Por último hice algunos detalles como el cigarro el cuello de la camisa y parte del traje y para finalizar el sombrero que siempre utilizaba Robert Oppenheimer y que le queda muy bien al actor Cillian Murphy, así quedó finalizado.
