Puss in Boots - The Last Wish - Review [EN] // [ES]
Hello my dear moviegoers, who here does not know Puss in Boots? Undoubtedly one of the most popular Dreamworks characters, known since 2004 for his appearance in Shrek 2, played by Antonio Banderas , Gato came to stay permanently, and his acceptance was so great that he has been the only character in the Shrek saga to have not one, but two movies and an animated series, and that is, at home we all love Puss in Boots and his occurrences, of my favorite animated characters, and not to mention Mathias, I have already lost count of the times he has seen his movies and series. Soon Kitty Softpaws appears on the scene, his great love, and his nemesis, since she has been the one who has defeated him the most times; Fluffy Paws is just like Puss, looking for the Wishing Star, just like Goldilocks and the Bears, and the villain of the movie, who, unlike the other characters, doesn't belong in any children's story, but rather to a nursery rhyme, Big Jack Horner, is the one who is hiring villains to find the wishing star. After stealing the map from Jack Horner, Kitty Patitas Suaves (Salma Hayek), Perrito, and Gato, escape to the dark forest in search of the star, beginning the adventure, where each of the characters will face their greatest fears while pursuing their greatest desires.
Perrito, one of the characters that without fear of being wrong, came to stay, plays a fundamental role and leaves a very strong message, and that is that even when life has hit him with the tobo, he always brings out the positive from all those bad situations, and he is always happy and positive, which is why he becomes a therapy dog, which plays an important role for Gato, who is going through one of the worst moments of his life, showing how important he can be. be therapy or sentimental support when you are going through depression, or anxiety and panic attacks, which are the episodes that cat lives throughout the plot.
Another of the messages that this film leaves us, and I think that is the reason why I identify so much with it, is that only when we have death in front of us or very close, is when we really value what we have left of life, when we realize that we have done a few stupid things without valuing life, it is when we begin to reconsider, and we give the position and value to all those who have been there for us. Otherwise, we will see a lot of big eyes, we will laugh a lot and we will probably feel a lot of nostalgia with this movie.
One of the things that many have praised about this film, has been the type of animation that they have used, where parts that evoke the action scenes of the anime are observed, personally, seeing this mix of animation techniques was something I loved it, it is out of the ordinary as far as computer animation is concerned, it is a plot that captivates from beginning to end, with new characters that leave many options for this new universe or multiverse (it is what is fashionable) of characters from Shrek. I give this film a 10/10, because it exceeded my expectations, and it left me asking for more, as we are used to with these characters, and that is, they leave us with a fairly open ending, and we will see what surprises it brings us. forward.

Hola mis queridos cinéfilos, ¿Quién aquí no conoce al Gato con Botas? Sin duda alguna uno de los personajes más populares de Dreamworks, conocido desde 2004 por su aparición en Shrek 2, interpretado por Antonio Banderas, Gato llego para quedarse de manera definitiva, y tanta fue su aceptación que ha sido el único personaje de la saga Shrek en tener no una, sino dos películas y una serie animada, y es que, en casa todos amamos al Gato con Botas y sus ocurrencias, de mis personajes animados favoritos, y ni que decir de Mathias, que ya perdí la cuenta de las veces que ha visto sus películas y serie. Fue en diciembre del pasado 2022, que estreno El Gato con Botas - El Ultimo Deseo, y fue hasta el pasado fin de semana, que la vi con detenimiento, aunque ya en las vistas anteriores de Mathias, había captado un poco su mensaje, y quedé enamorada de él.
Luego de su última aventura, como es de costumbre para Gato (Antonio Banderas), una fiesta le espera, misma que se descontrola un poco y termina acabando con una de sus vidas, al despertar, el doctor le dice que ha muerto y que debería comenzar a cuidarse, momento en el que Gato se burla y dice su típica frase, La leyenda nunca muere, el doctor le pregunta cuantas vidas ha gastado y es cuando Gato cae en cuenta de que esta es su última vida y que debe reconsiderar si seguir con sus aventuras o retirarse, optando por tomar la primera opción, pues como bien lo dijo ya, la leyenda nunca muere. Pero, en su camino a continuar con las aventuras se topa con el primer personaje nuevo de esta película, el Lobo Feroz, quien le persigue haciendo despertar en Gato, un miedo que nunca había sentido, llevándolo a tomar la decisión de irse a lo que para el será, una casa de retiro, viviendo como un gatito faldero, algo que el simplemente odia, pero, aunque no lo admite, la cobardía se hace presente en él.
Su tiempo como gatito faldero es relativamente corto, y es aquí donde conoce a Perrito (Harvey Guillen), quien, aunque en principio no lo sabe, será uno de sus mejores amigos, al finalizar la entrega, este perrito de terapia, lo ayudara en el camino que comienza pronto, pues aparecen Ricitos de Oro y los Tres Osos, haciendo que este huya de la casa de retiro, en busca de la Estrella de los Deseos, para recuperar sus vidas, y poder ser de nuevo lo que era antes.
Pronto aparece en escena Kitty Patitas Suaves, su gran amor, y su némesis, pues ha sido la que más veces le ha vencido; Patitas Suaves esta al igual que Gato, en busca de La Estrella de los Deseos, al igual que Ricitos de Oro y los Osos, y del villano de la película, quien, a diferencia de los otros personajes, no pertenece a ningún cuento infantil, sino más bien a una canción infantil, Big Jack Horner, es el que está contratando villanos para encontrar la estrella de los deseos. Luego de robarle el mapa a Jack Horner, Kitty Patitas Suaves (Salma Hayek), Perrito y Gato, escapan hasta el bosque oscuro en busca de la estrella, comenzando la aventura, donde cada uno de los personajes se enfrentara a sus más grandes temores mientras persiguen sus más grandes anhelos.
Perrito, uno de los personajes que sin temor a equivocarme, llego para quedarse, juega un papel fundamental y deja un mensaje bastante fuerte, y es que aun cuando la vida le ha dado hasta con el tobo, el siempre saca lo positivo de todas esas malas situaciones, y siempre anda alegre y positivo, razón por la cual se convierte en un perro de terapia, lo cual juega un papel importante para Gato, que se encuentra pasando uno de los peores momentos de su vida, dejando ver lo importante que puede ser la terapia o el apoyo sentimental cuando se está atravesando por depresión, o ataques de ansiedad y pánico que son los episodios que vive gato a lo largo de la trama.
Otro de los mensajes que nos deja esta película, y creo que es el motivo por el que me identifique tanto con ella, es que solo cuando tenemos a la muerte de frente o muy cerca, es cuando realmente valoramos lo que nos queda de vida, cuando nos damos cuenta que hemos hecho unas cuantas estupideces sin valorar la vida, es cuando comenzamos a recapacitar, y le damos el puesto y valor a todos aquellos que han estado allí para nosotros. De resto, veremos muchos ojitos grandes, reiremos mucho y probablemente sentiremos mucha nostalgia con esta película.
Una de las cosas que muchos han alagado de esta película, ha sido el tipo de animación que han utilizado, en donde se observan partes que evocan las escenas de acción del anime, en lo personal, ver esta mezcla de técnicas de animación, fue algo que me encanto, se sale de lo común en cuanto a animación por computadora se refiere, es una trama que atrapa de principio a fin, con nuevos personajes que dejan muchas opciones para este nuevo universo o multiverso (es lo que está de moda) de personajes provenientes de Shrek. Yo le doy un 10/10 a esta cinta, pues supero mis expectativas, y me dejo pidiendo más, como ya nos tienen acostumbrados con estos personajes, y es que, nos dejan un final bastante abierto, que ya veremos que sorpresas nos trae más adelante.

Esta es una pelicula interesante, cuchí dicen por allí. He leido algo sobre ella, pero no me he dado la oportunidad. Me gustó que matizaras el hecho de los cambios en Gato. Las personas solo aprendemos cuando vivimos en carne propia cada experiencia o anécdota. Es lo que yo puedo decir. Eso por lo que fijaste en el texto.
Así es, por lo general las experiencias que vivimos son las que van forjando lo que somos, y no es hasta que nos topamos con situaciones fuertes, cuando demostramos de que estamos hecho y valoramos cosas que en otras ocasiones probablemente no le habríamos prestado la mas minima atención, me ha pasado ya muchas veces.
Yo en verdad disfrute esta mucho mas que la primera, la animación es superior, digame las partes donde sale el lobo, uff quedaron brutales! También me encantó que Dreamworks no se aparte de ese estilo de narrativa donde involucra personajes de otros cuentos, puff lo de ricitos de oro y los oso es sencillamente genial.
Incluir personajes de otros cuentos infantiles, para mi es de las mejores cosas que hace DreamWorks, y si, las escenas del lobo fueron de las mejores, además de que fueron las escenas mas emotivas para el gato, la verdad me la disfrute muchísimo, y probablemente me la disfrutare unas cuantas veces mas jajaja
Hola amiga, tuve la oportunidad de verla con mi hija a ella le daba miedo "la escena del lobo y se tapaba los ojos" a mi me pareció muy interesante y a su vez llevando a la reflexión de que estamos haciendo con nuestra vida, gato la desperdicio muchas veces en tonterías y ya cuando tenía su última vida quizo hacer reflexión.
El personaje de perrito me gusta mucho, su forma de ver la vida tan positiva es increíble. Esta película me gustó mucho cada personaje tiene lo suyo y destacan.
Esta es de las cosas que más amé de la película, cada personaje tiene una personalidad marcada, que sin duda alguna destaca y hace de la trama lo que es. El mensaje que nos deja es realmente reflexivo, pues cuantos de nosotros no hemos sido en algún momento como Gato, que ha querido vivir la vida sin preocupación alguna!
