Hey! I gotta say, I completely agree with everything you mentioned in this post! Some movies in the superhero genre have been absolute disasters, and it’s crazy how they managed to mess them up with all the resources they had...

First off, Green Lantern man, where do I start? You nailed it with that one. Even Ryan Reynolds can’t help but joke about how bad it was. The CGI suit? It was honestly a disaster. It looked so fake that it took you out of the movie completely. For the amount of money they spent on it, you would expect something way better. I love how you pointed out that even now, rewatching it, the effects feel even worse. That’s exactly how I felt! It's like the movie aged in reverse—terribly!

Then there’s the script issue, which, like you said, is just so hard to overlook. Hal Jordan mastering the ring and beating a villain that no one else could defeat? After just a couple of days with his powers? Come on! It's like they didn’t even try to make it make sense.

Now, X-Men Origins: Wolverine this one deserved all the criticism it got. I can't believe what they did to Deadpool! It was like a Frankenstein version of the character, nothing like what fans loved from the comics. And that CGI? Even worse than the older X-Men movies, which just makes no sense. I didn’t know about the writers' strike affecting the script, but that explains a lot. The whole movie felt like a mess, from the weak representation of the mutants to that completely forgettable Project X storyline.

Anyway, love how you broke down these movies. You made solid points about each one, and it’s refreshing to see someone call out these big-budget flops for what they are. I hope some remakes well-done. But I really don't think so.
