Hello movie lovers in this beautiful community of hive, I hope you are very well today. Today I decided to do a post a little different from my conventional movie posts, I decided to do a post talking about my favorite movies of 2023, last year was full of much movement in the film world and I was also very aware of the releases and see them so I will tell you a little which were some of the movies that were released in 2023 that I loved. Notice that the order of the films does not mean that one is better than another as I liked them all very much for different reasons each. Hola amantes del cine en esta preciosa comunidad de hive, espero estén muy bien el día de hoy. El día de hoy decidí hacer un post un poco diferente a mis post de películas convencionales, decidí hacer un post hablando sobre mis películas favoritas del 2023, el año pasado estuvo lleno de mucho movimiento en el mundo cinematográfico y yo también estuve muy al tanto de los estrenos y de verlos así que les comentaré un poco cuales fueron algunas de las películas que se estrenaron en el 2023 que me encantaron. Aviso que el orden de las películas no quiere decir que una es mejor que otra ya que todas me gustaron mucho por diferentes razones cada una. Así que sin más que decir, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! 🎬✨

Let's agree that 2023 was an amazing year in the world of cinema as there was a lot of interaction with the public as well as bringing back great directors and actors/actresses and even though some of the movies I liked were not released on the big screen it doesn't mean they are any less amazing. Starting with some of the movies I liked from 2023 comes with a bang, Barbie the movie about one of the biggest doll brands in the world that took the box office by storm and not only that but it united billions of people in such an amazing place as the movie theater and created the big pink tide where many people dressed in pink to see the movie.

Barbie managed to take me back to my childhood where as I watched the movie my adult self could meet that little girl who loved Barbie dolls and Barbie movies, a splendid movie with a spectacular cast and with the great Margo Robbie in the whole front representing Barbie but in this occasion we can see how the perfect Barbie falls apart and has some problems to deal with her emotions, When she travels to the real world she discovers that everything is very different from Barbieland, so through songs, cries, memories and learning we see a little of what is the hard reality of being a woman and having to grow up and let go of childhood. Undoubtedly a long awaited premiere for many people and in my case it was one of the movies of 2023 that I will never forget.

Estamos de acuerdo que el 2023 fue un año increíble en el mundo del cine ya que hubo mucha interacción con el público además de traer de vuelta a grandes directores y actores/actrices y aunque algunas de las películas que me gustaron no se estrenaron en la gran pantalla no quiere decir que sean menos increíbles. Empezando con algunas de las películas que me gustaron del 2023 viene con fuerza, Barbie la cinta sobre una de las marcas de muñecas más grande del mundo y que arrasó en taquilla y no solo esto sino que unió a miles de millones de personas en un lugar tan increíble como el cine y creo la gran marea rosa en donde muchas personas se vistieron de rosa para ver la película.

Barbie logró regresarme a mi infancia en donde a medida que veía la película mi yo adulta pudo encontrarse con aquella niña que amaba las muñecas y las películas de Barbie, una película espléndida con un reparto espectacular y con la gran Margo Robbie en todo el frente representando a Barbie pero en esta ocasión podemos ver como la Barbie perfecta se desmorona y tiene algunos problemas para lidiar con sus emociones, al viajar al mundo real descubre que todo es muy diferente a barbieland así que a través de canciones, llantos, recuerdos y aprendizaje vamos viendo un poco de lo que es la realidad tan dura de ser mujer y el tener que crecer y desprenderse de la niñez. Sin duda un estreno muy esperado por muchas personas y en mi caso fue una de las películas del 2023 que nunca olvidaré.

Some of the movies released in 2023 have got us thinking, are we really in 2023 or is this an extension of the 2010s? Since many movies are from franchises that had their rise in the 2010s and one of those examples is this movie. The Hunger Games is back again and stronger than ever gathering all those fans who joined in support of the Mockingjay who would save Panem, this time in a prequel where we had the opportunity to meet President Snow before the events of the first movies where we can see how he transforms into the man we know in every passing minute of the film.

It was an extraordinary movie and there were many fans who could not miss this event, going back to those years and being able to see on the big screen how the feared and hated President Snow was created. I had the opportunity to see it in the theater and it was a great show, a lot of drama and emotion besides the romance, it was splendidly executed and each scene built tension for what could happen next, full of great movie stars that came together to give life to those characters that were born on a few simple sheets of paper. It was undoubtedly a long awaited premiere and completely worth the wait and all the teaser that were released to give clues to the fans about what they were about to see.

Algunas de las películas que se estrenaron en el 2023 nos han hecho pensar, ¿Estamos realmente en el 2023 o esto es una extensión de los 2010s? Ya que muchas películas son de franquicias que tuvieron su ascenso en los 2010s y uno de esos ejemplos es ésta película. Los juegos del hambre vuelve de nuevo y con más fuerza que nunca reuniendo a todos aquellos fans que se unieron en apoyo al Sinsajo que salvaría a Panem, en esta ocasión en una precuela en donde tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer al presidente Snow antes de los sucesos de las primeras películas en donde podemos ver como se transforma en el hombre que conocemos en cada minuto que pasa de la película.

Fue una película extraordinaria y hubo mucha fanaticada que no pudo perderse de éste evento, volver a aquellos años y poder ver en pantalla grande como se creo el temido y odiado presidente Snow. Tuve la oportunidad de verla en el cine y fue un gran espectáculo, mucho drama y emoción además del romance, estuvo ejecutada espléndidamente y cada escena te construía de a poco la tensión por lo que podría pasar luego, llena de grandes estrellas del cine que se unieron para dar vida a aquellos personajes que nacieron en unas simples hojas de papel. Sin duda fue un estreno muy esperado y valió completamente la pena la espera y todos los teaser que fueron lanzados para dar pistas a los fans sobre lo que estarían a punto de ver.

Nimona

Animation was not left behind in this past 2023 where we were able to enjoy a great display of works of art, some on the big screen and others through their respective streaming platforms, I will mention some of them but first let's talk about Nimona. A film of which I had no idea what it was about or what it was inspired by, however thanks to its beautiful character design, scenery and music it managed to catch me and I decided to give it a chance. A movie that surprised me from the beginning to the end, very beautiful and full of many messages that if you are a little observant you can get and understand, great characters with great fights, music and a sad story, following the story we get this knight who is banished and imprisoned for the false accusation of having killed the king but thanks to a strange and annoying little being that can change shape begin a journey to discover who killed the king.

It is a story that has many messages ranging from personal acceptance, not to judge by appearances, courage and the power to believe in yourself, a great movie that came to spread those messages in the little ones and to change a little who see it, it was a movie that I really was not sure to see but when I took the initiative I could really see everything it hid not only for its beautiful animation but for the messages it wanted to convey and in my opinion I think it did it splendidly.

La animación no se quedó atrás en este pasado 2023 en donde pudimos disfrutar de un gran despliegue de obras de arte, algunas en pantalla grande y otras a través de sus respectivas plataformas de streaming, haré mención de algunas de ellas pero primero hablemos de Nimona. Una película de la cual no tenía ni la mínima idea de que iba o en que estaba inspirada sin embargo gracias a su bello diseño de personajes, escenarios y música logró atraparme y decidí darle una oportunidad. Una película que me sorprendió desde que empezó hasta el final, muy bella y llena de muchos mensajes que si eres un poco observador podrás conseguir y entender, grandes personajes con grandes peleas, música y una historia triste, siguiendo la historia nos conseguimos a este caballero que es desterrado y encarcelado por la falsa acusación de haber matado al rey pero gracias a un pequeño ser extraño y molesto que puede cambiar de forma comienzan un viaje para poder descubrir quién asesino al rey.

Es una historia que tiene muchos mensajes que van desde la aceptación personal, a no juzgar por las apariencias, la valentía y el poder de creer en ti mismo, una gran película que llegó para difundir esos mensajes en los más pequeños y poder cambiar un poco a quien lo vea, fue una película que realmente no estaba segura de ver pero que al tomar la iniciativa pude realmente ver todo lo que escondía no solo por su animación bonita sino por los mensajes que quiso transmitir y que en mi opinión creo que lo hizo espléndidamente.

Another of the great surprises in the world of cinema was the news that the movie of the incredibly famous video game franchise Mario Bros would finally be released, where we could enjoy a display of what we all know as the kingdoms and we would have an approach to the story of Mario and how he got to that incredible world. With an extraordinary cast ranging from Jack Black to Anya Taylor-Joy where we lend their voices to give life to these endearing characters that accompanied us during our childhood to those who played their games.

A fantastic story where we must save the kingdom from the great and evil Bowser who wants to take over the stars and become the supreme king, Mario seeks the way to understand where he is and to find his brother Luigi who is captive in the hands of Bowser, With the help of Princess Peach we embark on a journey full of colorful and memorable characters, references and great battle scenes, besides having the scene of the incredible musical presentation of Jack Black with his song "Peaches" which was one of the original songs that had a lot of plays in the music apps. A great surprise was to see the designs of each world, of the characters and the details of each one of them besides seeing everything that we saw from afar in the video games, it was undoubtedly one of the great animated movies that were released in 2023.

Otra de las grandes sorpresas en el mundo del cine fue la noticia de que se estrenaría por fin la película de la increíblemente famosa franquicia de videojuegos Mario Bros en donde podríamos disfrutar de un despliegue de lo que todos conocemos como los reinos y tendríamos un acercamiento sobre la historia de Mario y el como llego a aquel mundo tan increíble. Con un reparto extraordinario que va desde Jack Black hasta Anya Taylor-Joy en donde nos prestan sus voces para darles vida a estos entrañables personajes que nos acompañaron durante nuestra infancia a los que jugamos sus juegos.

Una historia fantástica en donde debemos salvar al reino del gran y maligno Bowser quien quiere adueñarse de las estrellas y convertirse en el supremo rey, Mario busca la forma de entender en donde se encuentra y poder buscar a su hermano Luigi quien está cautivo en las manos de Bowser, con ayuda de la princesa peach nos embarcamos en un viaje lleno de personajes coloridos y recordados, referencias y grandes escenas de batallas, además de tener la escena de la increíble presentación musical de Jack Black con su canción "Peaches" que fue una de las canciones originales que tuvo muchísimas reproducciones en las apps de música. Una gran sorpresa fue ver los diseños de cada mundo, de los personajes y los detalles de cada uno de ellos además de ver todo aquello que veíamos de lejos en los videojuegos, sin duda fue una de las grandes películas animadas que se estrenaron en el 2023.

To finish with the movies I liked this past 2023 we close with one of my favorites of all time, with the return of director Christopher Nolan and a completely exquisite cast full of many talented artists who stand out for their magnificent work, we present Oppenheimer, a biopic that tells us about one of the greatest and most tragic events in history, the creation of the atomic bomb. This premiere was in conjunction with the premiere of Barbie which created the "Barbenheimer" phenomenon which encouraged many people to see both films on the same day and although I could not see them both on the same day I had the opportunity to see them both and without a doubt it is an event I will never forget.

The premiere of both movies was what made this year's movie world explode with an incredible amount of fans eager to see these films. The movie was an extraordinary display of visuals, music and history that complemented each other to create a genius movie where we can see a little more about the history of one of the world's greatest disasters, the atomic bomb that ended with the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the aim of developing nuclear weapons during the beginning of the second world war. A complicated story that managed to analyze from the perspective of Robert Oppenheimer how not only the construction of the bomb affected him but millions of people, without a doubt, Christopher Nolan managed to do a great job with the script and not only that but to raise so many great actors and actresses who have an incredible trajectory in the world of cinema. It was one of the most incredible movies I could witness and I could notice all the effort and dedication that they put into it to have such an incredible finish as it had, there is no doubt that it is one of the most important releases of 2023.

Para terminar con las películas que me gustaron de este pasado 2023 cerramos con una de mis favoritas de todo el tiempo, con el regreso del director Christopher Nolan y un reparto completamente exquisito lleno de muchos artistas talentosos que se destacan sus magníficos trabajos nos presentan Oppenheimer una película biográfica que nos habla sobre uno de los sucesos más grandes y trágicos de la historia, el de la creación de la bomba atómica. Este estreno estuvo en conjunto con el estreno de Barbie lo que creo el fenómeno "Barbenheimer" el cual animo a muchas personas a ver ambas películas en un mismo día y aunque yo no pude verlas un mismo día tuve la oportunidad de verlas ambas y sin duda es una evento que nunca olvidaré.

El estreno de ambas películas fue lo que hizo que este año el mundo del cine explotará por completo llenandose de manera increíble por fans llenos de ganas de poder ver estás películas. La película fue un despliegue extraordinario entre lo visual, la musica y la historia ya que todo se complementó para poder crear toda una genialidad de película en donde podemos ver un poco más sobre la historia de uno de los desastres más grandes del mundo, la bomba atómica que acabo con la destrucción en gran medida de Hiroshima y Nagasaki con el objetivo de desarrollar armas nucleares durante los inicios de la segunda guerra mundial. Una historia complicada que logro analizar desde la perspectiva de Robert Oppenheimer como no solo la construcción de la bomba lo afectó a el sino a millones de personas, sin duda, Christopher Nolan logró hacer un gran trabajo con el guión y no solo eso sino al recaudar a tantos grandes actores y actrices que tienen una trayectoria increíble en el mundo del cine. Fue una de las películas mas increíbles que pude presenciar y pude notar todo el esfuerzo y la dedicación que colocaron en ella para que tuviera ese acabado tan increíble como el que tuvo, no hay duda alguna de que es uno de los estrenos del 2023 más importantes que hubo.

These were some of the movies that I loved from 2023 and which were quite popular in the world, each one of them holds a special distinction that makes them unique and that will make there is no line between animation and acting as both are works of art.
