Hello movie lovers in this beautiful community of hive, I hope you are very well today, this time I share with you my review of this movie that to tell the truth I did not have much information about what it was really about but before going to see it I could do a little search about it and despite knowing very well the history of the Hunger Games, either by movies and books, I did not know the story of how President Snow was before becoming the tyrant we all know and certainly after watching it I loved every second of it and I could know how it was at the beginning the terrible hunger games. A story that is characterized by love and hate in different facets, with many forms and that sometimes we can realize that we do not always fully know people. Hola amantes del cine en esta preciosa comunidad de hive, espero estén muy bien el día de hoy, en esta ocasión les comparto mi reseña de ésta película que a decir verdad no tenía mucha información sobre lo que realmente trataba pero que antes de ir a verla pude hacer una pequeña búsqueda sobre ella y a pesar de conocer muy bien la historia de los Juegos del hambre, ya sea por las películas y libros, no conocía la historia de como era el presidente Snow antes de convertirse en el tirano que todos conocemos y sin duda luego de verla amé cada segundo de ella y pude conocer como era al principio los terribles juegos del hambre. Una historia que se caracteriza por el amor y el odio en diferentes facetas, con muchas formas y que a veces podemos darnos cuenta de que no siempre conocemos del todo a las personas. Let's talk a little about this movie, we all remember that furor of the four movies about a dystopian society where 12 districts had to deliver two tributes to fight to the death between them and to have a winning tribute and all this was overseen by the capitol the place of highest authority in all districts and organizers of the hunger games where President Snow directed and coordinated the games. Thanks not only to the amount of fame he acquired but also to the great fame of the books, a prequel about the dictator, President Snow, was made in order to know more about his history before he was known as a president and a total tyrant. In this prequel we see the young Coriolanus Snow, 18 years old, struggling to stand out in the capitol over his peers and make the name Snow again be recognized among all the districts until one day the people of the capitol decide that one day one of the students will mentor the next tributes of the hunger games where Coriolanus is assigned as a mentor to a girl from the impoverished district 12 called Lucy Gray who is a rebellious girl and that at first sight captured the attention of the entire capitol, Coriolanus must get his tribute to be the survivor of these hunger games but he finds himself battling with himself for his feelings and this is where the phrase "those we love are the ones who hurt us the most" comes in to describe their relationship.

In this science fiction, action and drama genre film has a cast that in my case I liked quite a lot since I could notice some familiar faces and some others that are new to me but after watching the movie I realized why they were chosen for those roles, among them we have Tom Blyth in the role of the young Coriolanus "Coryo" Snow, Rachel Zegler playing the striking Lucy Gray, Josh Andres Rivera as Sejanus Plinth, a close friend of Snow, Hunter Schafer as Tigris Snow cousin and confidant of Coriolanus Snow, Jason Schwartzman as Lucretius "Lucky" Flickerman host of the tenth hunger games, and one of the most familiar faces that immediately indicated to me that the film would have great acting quality was with Viola Davis as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the creator of the film. Volumnia Gaul, the chief creator of the tenth Hunger Games and Peter Dinklage as Casca Highbottom being the dean of the Academy and co-creator of The Hunger Games. With many personalities and many faces not only familiar but new we get to see the people who played and brought to life these characters so well remembered in the books.

Hablemos un poco sobre ésta película, todos recordamos aquel furor de las cuatro películas sobre una sociedad distopica en dónde 12 distritos debían entregar dos tributos para poder pelear a muerte entre ellos y poder tener un tributo ganador y todo esto era supervisado por el capitolio el lugar de mayor autoridad en todos los distritos y organizadores de los juegos del hambre en donde el presidente Snow dirigía y coordinaba los juegos. Gracias no solo a esa cantidad de fama que adquirió sino a la gran fama de los libros se pudo realizar cinematográficamente una precuela sobre el dictador, el presidente Snow, con el fin de conocer más sobre su historia antes de que fuera conocido como presidente y un total tirano. En esta precuela vemos al joven Coriolanus Snow, de 18 años, batallando para destacar en el capitolio sobre sus demás compañeros y hacer que el apellido Snow vuelva a ser reconocido entre todos los distritos hasta que un día la gente del capitolio decide que un día uno de los alumnos serán mentores de los siguientes tributos de los juegos del hambre en donde Coriolanus es asignado como mentor a una chica del empobrecido distrito 12 llamada Lucy Gray quien es una chica rebelde y que a primera vista captó la atención de todo el capitolio, Coriolanus debe lograr que su tributo sea la sobreviviente de estos juegos del hambre pero se encuentra batallando consigo mismo por sus sentimientos y aqui es donde la frase "aquellos quienes amamos son los que más daño nos hacen" entra para describir la relación de ambos.

En esta película de género ciencia ficción, acción y drama cuenta con un reparto que en mi caso me gustó bastante ya que pude notar algunas caras conocidas y algunas otras que son nuevas para mí pero que tras ver la película me di cuenta del por qué fueron escogidos para esos papeles, entre ellos tenemos a Tom Blyth en el papel del joven Coriolanus "Coryo" Snow, Rachel Zegler interpretando a la llamativa Lucy Gray, Josh Andrés Rivera en el papel de Sejanus Plinth, un amigo cercano de Snow, Hunter Schafer en el papel de Tigris Snow prima y confidente de Coriolanus Snow, Jason Schwartzman como Lucretius "Lucky" Flickerman presentador de los décimos juegos del hambre, y una de las caras más conocidas que inmediatamente me indicaron que la película tendría gran calidad actoral fue con Viola Davis en el papel de la Dra. Volumnia Gaul, la creadora principal de los décimos Juegos del Hambre y Peter Dinklage como Casca Highbottom siendo el decano de la Academia y cocreador de Los Juegos del Hambre. Con muchas personalidades y muchas caras no solo conocidas sino nuevas podemos ver a las personas que interpretaron y trajeron a la vida a estos personajes tan recordados en los libros.

Although, much to my regret, I wasn't completely part of that collective excitement when the first hunger games movies came out, I always liked them and since a while ago I started to be more interested in them because thanks to a friend I was able to have the first book and when I started reading it the story caught me completely, I am a fan completely in love with teenage dystopia and science fiction stories, going back to this movie I was very excited to see it because I could finally know more about the history of president Snow before he became the man we all know and know what made him become such a cold and heartless person. I went to the screening with some friends to see it and it was an incredible experience, I was clinging to my seat the whole movie as the movie was just escalating in terms of the events that would mark the young Snow and to see how he was slowly losing that innocence and fear was totally amazing. The movie even though it was long was completely worth it, the battle scenes, the drama and romance were perfectly balanced and added more humanity to the whole story that even made me at some point feel a little sorry for Coriolanus but still does not justify all the years in which he continued to allow the games to continue in addition to the same contribute to the development and "improvement" of these, no doubt at the end of watching it I could realize how a person can change after trusting another and get hurt.

Aunque, muy a mi pesar, no fui del todo parte de esa emoción colectiva de cuando salieron las primeras películas de los juegos del hambre siempre me gustaron y desde hace un tiempo me empezaron a interesar más ya que gracias a una amiga pude tener el primer libro y al comenzar a leerlo la historia me atrapó completamente, soy una fan enamorada completamente de las historias adolescentes de distopia y ciencia ficción, volviendo a esta película estuve muy emocionada por verla ya que por fin podría conocer más sobre la historia de el presidente Snow antes de ser el hombre que actualmente todos conocemos y saber que lo hizo convertirse en esa persona tan fría y sin corazón. Fui a la función con unos amigos a verla y fue una experiencia increíble, estuve toda la película agarrándome al asiento ya que la película simplemente iba escalando en cuanto a los sucesos que marcarían a el joven Snow y ver como poco a poco iba perdiendo esa inocencia y ese miedo fue totalmente increíble. La película a pesar de que fue larga valió completamente la pena, las escenas de batalla, el drama y el romance estuvieron perfectamente equilibrados y agregaron más humanidad a toda la historia que incluso hicieron que en algún punto sintiera un poco de lastima por Coriolanus pero aún así no justifica todos los años en los que siguió permitiendo que los juegos continuarán además de el mismo aportar para el desarrollo y la "mejora" de estos, sin duda al terminar de verla pude caer en cuenta el como una persona puede cambiar luego de confiar en otra y salir lastimados.

Each and every one of the performances were impeccable but the ones I loved the most were Rachel Zegler "Lucy Gray", Josh Andrés Rivera "Serjanus Plint", Peter Dinklage "Casca Highbottom", Viola Davis "Dr. Volumnia Gaul" and of course Tom Blyth "Coriolanus Snow" who splendidly displayed all those personalities that the only thing that united them was the hunger games. Continuing now with the development of the film it was totally spectacular and I was surprised by the fact that they divided the different facets of Snow and how we saw the change in him, as in the books we could enjoy the division of three parts within the same film where they show different events and these are accompanied by the decline of "society" and the change in the personality of Coriolanus. Of course the battle scenes could not be expected in this film and were one of the most anticipated as they are simply extraordinary in terms of the way of recording, the fights between the tributes and the different scenarios that are shown, no doubt the deployment and progress of the battle scenes were incredible and in more than one scene I was with my mouth open of those who were falling little by little inside the arena. Also to see how they were still perfecting what were the arenas and the offerings to the tributes was something sensational, the scenes felt as if the viewers were part of that story and we were living firsthand what was the whole evolution of the nefarious hunger games.

Todas y cada una de las actuaciones estuvieron impecables pero las que más amé fueron la de Rachel Zegler "Lucy Gray", la de Josh Andrés Rivera "Serjanus Plint", Peter Dinklage "Casca Highbottom", Viola Davis "Dra. Volumnia Gaul" y por supuesto la de Tom Blyth "Coriolanus Snow" quienes se encargaron espléndidamente de desplegar todas esas personalidades que lo único que los unía eran los juegos del hambre, personalidades desde frías, calculadoras y controladoras a destruidas y vacías que se movían solo por los mandamientos de la misma gente del capitolio, alegres y fuertes como la de lucy gray que quien gracias a su canto podía alegrar a los ciudadanos del distrito 12 y los ayudaba a olvidar la situación en la que se encontraban, hasta compasivas y sensibles como la de Serjanus quien solo quería evitar seguir viendo más muertes de personas inocentes y bueno no olvidemos a la más importante la de Coriolanus quien tuvo un despliegue espectacular de emociones durante toda la película pudimos ver todas las facetas de como una persona puede cambiar tanto de mentalidad como de corazón y no solo por sus propias acciones sino por su entorno, pudimos ver su inocencia al querer marcar una diferencia hasta el punto en donde ésta muere para dar paso a la indiferencia y la apatía.

Continuando ahora con el desarrollo de la película éste fue totalmente espectacular y me sorprendió el hecho de que dividieran las diferentes facetas de Snow y de como veíamos el cambio en el, al igual que en los libros pudimos disfrutar la división de tres partes dentro de la misma película en donde muestran diferentes sucesos y que a estos los acompaña el declive de la "sociedad" y el cambio de la personalidad de Coriolanus. Por supuesto las escenas de batalla no se podían hacer esperar dentro de esta película y eran una de las más esperadas ya que estás simplemente son extraordinarias en cuanto a la forma de grabar, las peleas entre los tributos y los diferentes escenarios que se nos muestran, sin duda el despliegue y avance de las escenas de batalla fueron increíbles y en más de una escena estaba con la boca abierta de los que iban cayendo poco a poco dentro de la arena. También el ver como aún estaban perfeccionado lo que eran las arenas y las ofrendas a los tributos fue algo sensacional, las escenas se sintieron como si los espectadores fuéramos parte de esa historia y estuviéramos viviendo a primera mano lo que fue toda la evolución de los nefastos juegos del hambre.

Creo que es una de las sagas que, en mi opinión, están muy bien estructuradas, se puede apreciar la evolución de los personajes y de su entorno, el cambio de los tiempos y los sentimientos de ellos. Lo mejor de ella fue el ver esa evolución, el desarrollo de los personajes y no solo del principal sino de todos y el saber que pase lo que pase al final es lo que marco a muchos años a la población de Panem en donde tuvieron que resistir al gobierno de Snow y ver a muchos conocidos morir, el saber cómo continua la historia hace que la película tenga muchísimo más peso y la historia en ésta. Después de haberla visto agrando mis ganas de terminar los libros e incluso volver a ver las películas ya que de verdad siento que es una de las pocas que tienen una continuación de varias películas que va de buena mejor y así sucesivamente, puedo decir que en algún punto intenté simpatizar con Snow ya que ví esas ganas de poder hacer un cambio pero al final el odio, la rabia y el rencor hicieron que el dejará esos pensamientos atrás y se preocupara por su propio destino, sin importar nadie más y ahí es donde pude notar el como nos afectan las situaciones que vivimos pero está en nosotros no dejarnos amargar ni dejar morir nuestra esperanza ni nuestro ser por esas situaciones como Snow dejo que pasara con el.
