En el año 1983 nació un fenómeno a nivel internacional en la revista del manga Shūkan Shōnen Jump caballeros del zodiaco o saint seiya para los más puristas, y luego en 1986 se emite por primera vez el anime caballeros del zodiaco, el cual alcanza un nivel de popularidad tal alto que logre tener la misma popularidad que dragon ball que en ese entonces también estrenaba sus primeros capítulos, muchos son los que recuerdan con cariño a sus personajes y en especial el arco argumental de las 12 casas de los caballeros de oro, el cual por cierto ya fue adoptado a película de animación en el año 2014, ahora toca el turno de nueva adaptación el cual les debo de ser sincera, es horrible, nefasta y son pocos los puntos que se salvan de la misma.

Empezaré por el único punto bueno y por un punto que si bien no es bueno del todo si quedo bastante decente, lo primero las coreografías de la pelea están bien realizadas se nota que los actores conocen de artes marciales, y las armaduras no son perfectas pero se ven bien dentro de lo que cabe, ahora si el guión es horrible se nota que no entendieron bien el anime, se que es una adaptación pero el hecho de adaptar no implica quitarle toda la esencia a la historia, se les olvida plasmar que caballeros del zodiaco es un mundo en sí mismo, con diversidad de historias y personajes, que en este caso las centran mucho en seiya, haciendo que solo veamos la armadura completa hasta el final, algo sumamente decepcionante, no hay aparición de más caballeros solo del caballero de fénix y es hasta el final, con una pelea que no está mal del todo, pero con efectos especiales tan baratos que parecen sacados de una playstation 1, literalmente hay una persecución en un vehículo casi al inicio y tiene tan mal CGI que te cuestiones porque simplemente no hicieron una persecución con el vehículo real, se nota que tenían buenas intenciones, el casting no está mal del todo de hecho hay papeles que físicamente podemos decir que se parecen, pero todo se destruye con una base argumental pobre, siendo una pelicula que más que genérica de acción, se vuelve aburrida y lenta.

I will start by the only good point and by a point that although it is not good at all if it was pretty decent, the first thing the choreography of the fight are well done you can tell that the actors know martial arts, and the armors are not perfect but they look good as far as it goes, now if the script is horrible you can tell they did not understand the anime well, i know it's an adaptation but the fact of adapting doesn't imply to take away all the essence of the story, they forget to show that zodiac knights is a world in itself, with a diversity of stories and characters, and in this case they focus a lot on seiya, making that we only see the complete armor until the end, something extremely disappointing, there is no appearance of more knights only the phoenix knight and it is until the end, with a fight that is not bad at all, but with special effects so cheap that seem taken from a playstation 1, literally there is a chase in a vehicle almost at the beginning and has so bad CGI that you wonder why they simply did not make a chase with the real vehicle, You can tell they had good intentions, the casting is not bad at all in fact there are roles that physically we can say that they look alike, but everything is destroyed with a poor plot base, being a movie that more than generic action, it becomes boring and slow.

Como un punto final, creo que si la vas a ver vela en casa como una curiosidad si eres muy fanático al anime, pero si eres nuevo en Saint Seiya mejor disfrutar del anime o al menos la adaptación de 2014 que a mi parecer estaba mucho más decente.

As a final point, I think if you're going to watch it watch it at home as a curiosity if you're a big anime fan, but if you're new to Saint Seiya better enjoy the anime or at least the 2014 adaptation which in my opinion was much more decent.
