[ESP-ING] "Jezabel": Una producción venezolana con un desenlace inesperado 🍿

El otro día mientras copiaba una investigación se me ocurrió entrar a un canal de telegram que sube películas completas, y es ahí dónde me topé con una película venezolana que ni siquiera sabía que existía, así que me dispuse a verla y hoy les comento mis opiniones:
The other day while I was copying some research it occurred to me to enter a telegram channel that uploads complete movies, and that's where I came across a Venezuelan movie that I didn't even know existed, so I decided to watch it and today I'll tell you my opinions:

| Es una película Venezolana basada en una novela homónima del mismo nombre, que fue dirigida por Hernán Jabes y protagonizada por: Gabriel Agüero, Johanna Juliethe, Eliane Chipia y Shakti Maal. La historia gira en torno a 4 jóvenes de clase alta que viven su vida sin ninguna preocupación, hasta que un día, una de las integrantes es brutalmente asesinada. | It is a Venezuelan film based on a novel of the same name, directed by Hernán Jabes and starring: Gabriel Agüero, Johanna Juliethe, Eliane Chipia and Shakti Maal. The story revolves around 4 young upper class girls who live their lives without any worries, until one day, one of the members is brutally murdered. |

| Lolo, Cacá, Eli y Alain son 4 jóvenes que viven el día a día de una manera bastante alocada y a su manera, y al pasar tanto tiempo juntos su relación se vuelve más turbia. Si bien la historia empieza recapitulando su vida en el liceo y todos sus encuentros, esto es sólo una serie de recuerdos ya que Alain no logra superar la muerte de Eli, incluso 10 años después en una Venezuela futurista y con una vida bastante cómoda, y cuando se encuentra con un escritor llamado Salvador Grasso, todo vuelve a revivir. | Lolo, Cacá, Eli and Alain are four young people who live day to day life in their own crazy way, and as they spend so much time together their relationship becomes more turbulent. Although the story begins by recapitulating their life in high school and all their encounters, this is only a series of memories since Alain can not get over the death of Eli, even 10 years later in a futuristic Venezuela and with a fairly comfortable life, and when he meets a writer named Salvador Grasso, everything comes back to life. |

🍿 Opiniones generales | General opinions
| En términos generales siento que hicieron un buen trabajo con la producción, me gustaron las actuaciones, la trama como tal te atrapa desde un primer momento y eso es bueno, y la fotografía también. Me parece aceptable teniendo en cuenta que mi país no se realizan muchas producciones. Pero, si nos enfocamos en la historia como tal, tuvo sus inconsistencias. | In general terms I feel they did a good job with the production, I liked the performances, the plot as such grabs you from the first moment and that's good, and the photography as well. I think it's acceptable considering that my country doesn't have many productions. But, if we focus on the story as such, it had its inconsistencies. |

| El detalle no es que sea predecible, porque hay muchas que lo son pero sin embargo en el desarrollo tratan de explicarte el porqué de toda la situación, pero en este caso más bien fue confuso, y cabe destacar que no hubo profundidad de ningún personaje a excepción de Alain y porque es el que está narrando, pero siento que tal vez hubiera sido genial conocer por lo menos más de la víctima y más cuando en una escena dan a entender que ella ya no quería estar en ese grupo de "amigos". | The detail is not that it is predictable, because there are many that are but nevertheless in the development they try to explain why the whole situation, but in this case it was rather confusing, and it should be noted that there was no depth of any character except Alain and because he is the one who is narrating, but I feel that maybe it would have been great to know at least more of the victim and more when in a scene they imply that she no longer wanted to be in that group of "friends". |

| Algo que no me gustó y tuve que saltar varias veces fueron las escenas sexuales, y no es porque no fueran realistas, porque en ese tipo de círculos hacen cosas que uno ni se imagina. Es sólo que no agregaron nada potencial a la trama e incluso llegaron a ser denigrantes(como la escena del campamento), sin embargo, debo dejar de lado la violación que llevó al asesinato de Eli, porque se notó su desesperación y lo bajo de todo lo que estaba pasando a su alrededor. | Something I didn't like and had to skip several times were the sexual scenes, and it's not because they weren't realistic, because in that kind of circles they do things you wouldn't even imagine. It's just that they didn't add anything potential to the plot and even went as far as being demeaning(like the camp scene), however, I have to leave aside the rape that led to Eli's murder, because you could tell how desperate he was and how low everything was going around him. |

| Además, ese final quedó inconcluso, nos hacen pensar que uno de los integrantes (no haré spoiler) era el monstruo y los demás unas víctimas, pero en escenas pasadas no te muestran más que indiferencia de su parte y el estar bien incluso el día del asesinato, por lo que no se puede sentir ningún tipo de empatía hacía ellos, y por el giro que dieron, sientes que ninguno de ellos era lo que aparentaba. Y lo del profesor sólo deja en claro que todos eran unos monstruos Pero, dejando de lado eso no estuvo tan mal, fue coherente y te mantiene interesado en qué fue lo que realmente pasó. | Also, that ending was inconclusive, they make us think that one of the members (I won't spoiler) was the monster and the others were victims, but in past scenes they show you nothing but indifference on their part and being fine even the day of the murder, so you can't feel any kind of empathy towards them, and by the turn they took, you feel that none of them were what they appeared to be. And the professor's thing just makes it clear that they were all monsters But, that aside it wasn't too bad, it was coherent and keeps you interested in what really happened. |

Recuerdo haberlo leído en físico, pero a diferencia de otras novelas de Eduardo Sánchez Rugeles, no recuerdo nada de ella! Ni como me hizo sentir...
Toca volver a esa lectura y ver esta peli, tu reseña me dejó intrigada, no sabía que finalmente habían sacado la película.

Tampoco sabía de esta película. Narras muy bien la historia. Sabemos que en nuestro país no se acierta mucho con el cine, al menos eso pienso. Me gustaría verla por gran parte de lo que comentas. Gracias por compartir.
Las películas venezolanas últimamente están siendo muy sonadas y esta que nos compartes es la primera vez que la escucho y leyendo un poco es impactante como abarcan la vida de esos jóvenes y llevarlos a una situación muy loca y quizás nadie podría estar preparado para pasar, así que la buscare y ver que paso allí.
Vi el trailer hace más de un año y me perdí la oportunidad de verla en un evento, pero por su fotografía y ver que se ve que tiene una buena producción e historia quiero verla en algún momento!
