Lately, I've been having a very busy schedule that my go-to for relaxation mostly in the night time is watching movies to unwind from the day's stress, it is not uncommon that people watch movies just to feel entertained mostly but for the most of it as well, lessons about certain things or life, in general, gets impacted from the movies we watch, the more reason why children are not allowed to watch movies beyond their age limit because what we watch have a way of influencing us either positively or negatively.

As I stated, movies put me in an unwind mode, and most times I end up sleeping letting my dreamland finish the storyline for me mostly due to tiredness or a movie I'm not so into but when I make sure to see the end of a movie, it has definitely caught my interest, and there will always be something to learn from such movies or tv shows.

A couple of days ago, I was browsing through Netflix, trying to update my watchlist when I stumbled on an interesting title "Next On Fashion" Being a designer myself, any genre of movie that has fashion attached to its title or description easily catches my interest, and as expected, it didn't disappoint. It is a kind of reality TV show that showcases talented designers who were selected out of the very best from different states to compete as the "next in Fashion" meaning they get given different design tasks, and as the show progresses, their numbers get reduced as the least liked design gets eliminated with every round and task till the last man standing.

I know this type of show would mostly interest designers and fashion enthusiasts because when fashion is called next, it means we are hoping for designs that we've never seen existing before, all the contestants were pretty amazing and unique in their own way, but sadly only one was meant to be the winner, watching the show as a designer, there is no how you won't learn new sewing tricks and how to be on your A game, especially when considering the duration to finish the task given.

I learned new aspects of fashion that were overlooked, one that particularly piqued my interest is recycled fashion, where thrift outfit popularly known as bend down select in my country can be restructured into amazing designs, there are some designer that based solely on recycled fashion, I never knew this was a thing, and also my favorite contestant who also won the competition as the Next in Fashion is into patchwork and recycle fashion, his name is Nigel, you need to google him to understand the level of uniqueness I'm talking about when it comes to the next fashion.

I didn't want the show to come to an end and even looked for a sequel or a previous show, which I haven't found yet, hopefully, someone helps me with this, I've mostly been about perfecting styles created by other designers, but this show changed my perspective and opened my eyes to being original and these days I find myself wanting to put my unique creative touch in every design I make, I learned that what makes a designer is astanding out*, wherever someone puts on my l design for instance, people could easily tell that that's Glori design, so hopefully someday this dream I'm working on becomes a reality and I think this cuts across every profession, uniqueness makes the difference, and uniqueness equals creativity the very spark that fuels your passion, I hope I get to see more of this show someday, for now i'll keep thriving with what I learned.

Thank You for reading.❤❤

Ha!
This sounds like a must-watch.
Fashion interests me. But even more, the cinematography and drama in this kind of film is mostly top-notch.
