Having renewed my Netflix subscription, after not using the app the whole of last month due to my very busy schedule, I decided this month's subscription wouldn't go to waste again, so I made sure to spend my leisure evening time basking in a good movie hopefully, and there I was scrolling through which to watch, I am usually open-minded about the genre of movies selections, but my interest would usually be for American Series, So when I came across Suits, the brief intro was good enough for me to give it a trial, I mean who wouldn't, because it already had many questions running through my mind, like how a college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) became the associates of the best lawyer in New York, and all of that question was answered as each scene unfolds.

"Suits" is an impressive and entertaining seasonal legal drama that didn't take much time to get its audience captivated, unlike those kinds of movies that would need you to watch a couple of scenes before you decide if you want to continue watching or not, the movie started with a brilliant and compelling character Mike Ross who was seen taking bar exams, but something seemed off at first like he didn't know what he was doing, but few minutes to the end of the exam, he started writing which made the invigilator suspect him and separated his papers during submissions, but with a few second distractions on the professor's side, he was able to mix up his papers which further strengthens the professor's suspicions about him, but before he could catch him, Mike intelligently mixes up with the crowd and escapes, and the reason was proven in the next scene, he helped a friend cheat by taking the exams in his place.

Despite being very intelligent, having an outstanding memory, and an exceptional understanding of the law, Mike lacks a legitimate law degree because of his dubious act of helping students cheat which had him rusticated from school after being cut sharing answers to a test. However, Harvey recognizes Mike's potential and hires him as an associate at his prestigious law firm, Pearson Hardman. The event that led to their meeting is also another interesting story mix, Mike was set up by his friend who deals with drugs, though he wasn't in support of his friend's dealings but having to meet up with his only family (grandmum) health bills, he agreed to go for a one-time drug drop deal, again, his intelligence saves him from falling into the trap, in a bid to escape, he found himself in Harvey's office a section of the hotel the deal was supposed to take place, who was also at the time scouting for associates, but wants someone as witty and intelligent as him, but couldn't find one, until meeting Mike. From there, the show takes viewers on a thrilling ride as Mike had to learn and actively engage in the world of corporate law while keeping his secret hidden from his colleagues.

The dynamic between Mike and Harvey is the heart and soul of the show. Their mentor-protégé relationship is complex, often in disagreement, but ultimately built on mutual respect and loyalty. As they tackle high-stakes cases and also face office politics, their chemistry, and witty banter keep the audience engaged and entertained.

My favourite character would be Harvey Specter while the entire cast also delivered outstanding performances, if I could make them two then Mike also stole my heart in this movie, the movie focuses on them, and I didn't get tired of having them in most of the scenes. Harvey, the confident, and brilliant lawyer is nothing short of captivating, his razor-sharp wit, unwavering determination, and his ability to outmaneuver his opponents in the courtroom make him a truly iconic character. However, he seems to lack compassion, which is his ego speaking because his meeting with Mike actually brought that compassion out of him, maybe not in the way a normal human would expect. Also, his relationships with Donna (Sarah Rafferty) his colleague, and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) his boss are beautifully displayed, showcasing Harvey's softer side beneath his tough exterior.

I would give Suits a 9/10 , for the masterclass in storytelling, I didn't need to think too hard to understand every scene, also blending drama and humor in a legal space is applaudable. The actors excellent delivery of their roles, to the well-crafted plot twists, making the show a highly entertaining and also engaging experience makes me give it nothing less than this 9/10 rating, and trust me it's high coming from me, I can be very critical in ratings. This shows I'm well satisfied with suits.

Beyond its entertainment value, Suits serves as an inspiration in several ways. Harvey Specter's unwavering dedication to his job and his relentless pursuit of excellence are truly admirable, also his ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problems is a skill that transcends the legal profession.
Suits also reminds us that success often comes with sacrifices and tough choices. Mike's journey as a once fraud student that made his childhood dreams to be cut short serves as a lesson to students out there, that even though we are gifted, we should always take the right path towards success, no matter how well-intentioned. It encourages us to pursue our dreams through ethical means, valuing integrity over shortcuts.

Overall, Suits is a captivating and inspiring series that not only entertains but also imparts valuable lessons about ambition, loyalty, and the pursuit of excellence. Its ability to blend legal drama with character development and witty dialogue makes it a must-watch for anyone seeking a compelling and thought-provoking viewing experience.

Thank you for reading.❤❤

I fell in love with this movie because of the two of them. Hearing Harvey introduce himself alone was so sweet😂😂 “I am Harvey Specter”
