Oh I gotta go and get this. Evil Dead is one of my favorite franchises of all time and I even bought the collector edition DVD of the original that came in an Necronomicon instead of a jewel box or whatever we call those things. I was a bit nonplussed by most of the non Bruce Campbell releases but was even more disappointed with the series that was, hell, I don't even remember what it was called but I thought it was dumb.
Hopefully I can find this on torrents... gonna go look now.

I'm guessing you're talking about Ash vs Evil Dead? That show definitely leaned way more into the cheesy aspect of Evil Dead and was tonally just a comedy show with some minor horror elements on the side. I had fun with the first season and then just kind of lost interest after that.
I personally loved the 2013 reboot that lacked Bruce, but I can get why some fans wouldn't be super keen on it. This is like a mix of the 2013 movie and Evil Dead II though in tone, and I feel like you'll probably enjoy the movie. It tows the line well of being serious while also getting so absurd with it that you just have a good laugh. You should be able to pretty easily find it to download I reckon, so hopefully you enjoy it!
