Greetings fellow moviegoers of the @moviestvshows community. Here I am again with you to review the movie flightplan, starring the famous actress Jodie Foster and Peter Sarsgaard.

Saludos amigos cinéfilos de la comunidad de @moviestvshows. Por acá nuevamente me encuentro con ustedes para hacerles la reseña de la película flightplan o plan de vuelo, protagonizada por la afamada actriz Jodie Foster y Peter Sarsgaard.

The plot/ La trama

Jodie Foster plays Kyle Pratt, a widow who has just lost her husband and moves his body in a coffin inside a plane traveling from Berlin to New York. She travels in the company of Julia, her six-year-old daughter, but fatigue causes them to fall asleep and when Kyle wakes up she realizes that her daughter has disappeared and no one has seen her. The complicated thing is that there is no evidence that Kyle has entered the plane with the girl.
It will be up to him to desperately search for Julia even though, apparently, it seems that his conscience has played a bad joke on him.

Jodie Foster interpreta a Kyle, una viuda que acaba de perder a su marido y traslada su cuerpo en un féretro dentro de un avión que viaja de Berlín a Nueva York. Ella viaja en compañía de Julia, su hija de seis años, pero el cansancio hace que se queden dormidas y cuando Kyle despierta se da cuenta que su hija ha desaparecido y nadie la ha visto. A film with a lot of drama, suspense and intrigue involving the search for the daughter inside a huge double-decker plane.

Jodie's performance is convincing and makes the viewer experience the anguish and despair of not finding her little girl.

Losing a child must be a very unpleasant and stressful experience. I experienced something similar when I took my six-year-old nephew to the beach and he got lost in the crowd. It took me several minutes to look for him on the shore and I imagined the worst. I could actually breathe when I found him far from where I left him, but it was a truly bitter moment.

Una película con mucho drama, suspenso e intriga que implica la búsqueda de la hija dentro de un avión inmenso de dos pisos.
La actuación de Jodie es convincente y hace que el espectador viva la angustia y desesperación de no encontrar a su pequeña.
Perder un hijo debe ser una experiencia muy desagradable y estresante. Yo viví algo parecido cuando me llevé a mi sobrino de seis ańos a la playa y se me extravió entre la gente. Tardé varios minutos buscándolo por la orilla y me imaginaba lo peor. De verdad pude respirar cuando lo encontré lejos del sitio donde lo dejé pero fue un momento verdaderamente amargo.

Getting back to the film, it contains scenes of deep drama and intrigue as Jodie goes through every part of the plane trying to find Julia's whereabouts.

Almost the entire plot takes place inside the plane and that makes the movie a bit monotonous from the point of view of the scenery.

However, the director knew how to imprint each scene with a dose of emotion and anxiety that runs throughout the film.

Volviendo a la película, ésta contiene escenas de profundo drama e intriga cuando Jodie va recorriendo cada parte del avión tratando de dar con el paradero de Julia.
Casi toda la trama se desarrolla dentro del avión y eso hace que la película caiga un poco en la monotonía desde el punto de vista de la escenografía.
Sin embargo, el director supo imprimir a cada escena una dosis de emoción y de ansiedad que transcurre a lo largo de todo el film.

In conclusión/ En conclusión

A film recommended for a good time of entertainment. Especially for lovers of suspense and intrigue. It is not a blockbuster but it is loaded with good scenes and a very convincing performance by the experienced Jodie Foster, used to work in this type of films where she acts as a very self-confident woman who does not let herself be easily convinced.

The message conveyed by this film is that whenever we travel with children, we must not lose sight of them at any time, especially in these times when kidnappings, organ trafficking and human trafficking are the order of the day.

Children should be taught that not all people have good intentions and that they should always be suspicious of anyone who promises them something or seeks to give them a gift for no reason. This way we will avoid many bad moments.

Una película recomendada para pasar un buen rato de entretenimiento. Especialmente para los amantes del suspenso y la intriga. No es una superproducción cinematográfica pero si está cargada de buenas escenas y la actuación muy convincente de la experimentada Jodie Foster costumbrada a trabajar en este tipo de películas donde actúa como una mujer muy segura de si misma que no se deja convencer fácilmente.
El mensaje que transmite esta película es que siempre que viajemos con niños, no debemos perderlos de vista en ningún momento, sobretodo en esta época en que los secuestros, el tráfico de órganos y la trata de personas están a la orden del día.
A los niños hay que enseñarles que no todas las personas tienen buenas intenciones y que deben desconfiar siempre de aquel que le promete algo o busca darle algún regalo sin algún motivo. Así evitaremos muchos malos ratos.
