In a previous post I gushed how excited I was about C2E2. Well it has come and gone and I was not disappointed. I am only now fully recovered from the two day long geekgasm I experienced.

In addition to a ton of cool toys, games and artwork, there were a countless amazing costumes. Here are some of my favorites:

Have you ever wondered what the UNSC looks like when they are preparing for a mission? Well wonder no more.

Although not a costume, this display of Giger's Aliens were simply amazing.

Here's some humans future hosts in the shot to give you some perspective
of the grandeur of these monsters.

Here's one more non-costume before we get back to those. It's almost like they didn't need any roads in order to get this time machine here. (I may need to use this to go back in time and fix the Chicago Bulls).

These people put in maximum effort to create the perfect Marvel throuple.

If you have not seen Hazbin Hotel, it is a must watch. Here are a couple of characters, Moxy and Blitz, from its sister show Helluva Boss. I never knew you could have so many laughs in Hell (Good thing. I don't want to be bored when I get there).

I had no idea the world needed a soldier Grimmace to defend us until I saw this. Now I don't know how we ever lived without it! Check out that bandolier. Now run in fear!!!

I'm going to say goodbye from C2E2 for now, but I have some special Star Wars and Dimension 20 pics in the chamber for later.

If you can't tell from the terrible focus, composition, and depth of field, in these images (By the way I have no idea what those words even mean. I just googled "vocabulary for setting up a photo shoot.) All of these amateurish photos were taken by me. The goal here was to express fun, my apologies to any photo artists who had to look at these.

Now the interactive part. If you HAD to dress up for a convention, what/who would you dress as?

Wow, that looks like it was a good time. I think they have a comic convention down in Detroit each year. I will have to think about going sometime.

I am never disappointed. Total sensory overload but worth it!

LoL XD I'm sure any photographers would look at it and go someone documenting a fun time XD And even if you were just learning you shouldn't have to apologise because you're just learning.

I can't say much, I clearly remember doing a lot of apologising for my lack of skills...well I would still actually be doing it to this day but I've managed to stop doing it externally for the most part

The last con I got dragged to (mostly went with middle child and a couple of her friends who were only just in high school and were nervous about going on the train to a con in full cosplay by themselves so I tagged along with them) I "dressed up" as Dr Who (which is to say I chucked on the long Dr Who scarf and a long coat that I have, unfortunately I couldn't find either of the two sonic screwdrivers we have in the house.

the con was actually mostly fun, I hadn't been to one for a while though I don't usually go to these things coz of my hearing

Did you dress up? :D

Those easy costumes are the best! I did a similar easy costume on Saturday because my daughter dressed up. I went as Jawbone from Dimension 20 (a D&D show she and I watch). He's a werewolf so I just said I was him in human form. Very easy costume.

Smart 😆

I have heard of dimension 20, think at least one if the boys might watch it at least sometimes.
