Hola, saludos a toda la comunidad de Movies & TVShows. Para mi primera publicación en esta comunidad me gustaría recomendar una serie que terminé de ver hace pocos días y disfruté muchísimo. Se trata de una comedia mexicana estrenada en noviembre de 2023 y cuyo título en español es “ojitos de huevo” o “nothing to see here” en inglés.

It is a Mexican comedy released in November 2023 and whose title in Spanish is "ojitos de huevo" and "nothing to see here" in English.

La serie narra la aventuras de dos amigos que se proponen hacer realidad el sueño de uno de ellos, Alexis (Alexis Arroyo). Su sueño es llegar a ser un humorista exitoso. Charly (Kike Vázquez) le acompaña en esa aventura haciendo de manager. Hasta aquí todo normal salvo que, Alexis es ciego y Charly sufre parálisis cerebral.
Para alcanzar su sueño, deciden mudarse a la ciudad de México realizando el viaje en coche, Charly conduce…..¿Que puede salir mal?

Este personaje es especial para mí ya que, me he sentido identificado con él. Será por mi condición de fumeta, pero algunas de las situaciones incómodas en las que involuntariamente se mete, me resultan muy cercanas. Sobre todo la de reír en los momentos más inoportunos. Con el tiempo se unen Jimmy (Memo Villegas), Maya (Teté Espinoza) presidenta de un grupo para ayudar a personas dedicadas al robo a no cometer más actos ilícitos y Lalo (Raúl Villegas) un ladrón de poca monta en la Ciudad de México.

Los diálogos y los actores consiguen que el espectador se ría de situaciones muy difíciles para los personajes, que no tendría ninguna gracia en la vida real. Sino fuera por esa capa de humor que los actores y actrices consiguen darle sería una serie dura de ver. Humor agridulce, inteligente y sin tonterías.
Otro de los motivos por los que he elegido esta serie es porqué, el cannabis está presente desde mi punto de vista, de una manera realista. No glorifica ni demoniza su consumo, muestra cómo algunos personajes lo utilizan como vía de escape o relajación.
Por ejemplo, la relación de Alexis y Charly con el cannabis me parece muy interesante. No se trata solo de su uso y consumo, sino también de cómo afecta a su percepción del mundo y a su creatividad.
El cannabis no es un tema recurrente ni el tema principal de la historia pero si los protagonistas se preocupan de tener siempre algo para fumar.
The dialogues and the actors make the viewer laugh at very difficult situations for the characters, which would not be funny in real life. If it weren't for that layer of humor that the actors and actresses manage to give it would be a hard series to watch. Bittersweet, intelligent, no-nonsense humor.
Another reason why I have chosen this series is because, cannabis is present from my point of view, in a realistic way. It doesn't glorify or demonize its consumption, it shows how some characters use it as a way of escape or relaxation.
For example, I find Alexis and Charly's relationship with cannabis very interesting. It is not only about its use and consumption, but also about how it affects his perception of the world and his creativity.
Cannabis is not a recurring theme or the main theme of the story but if the main characters are concerned about always having something to smoke.

Porqué sí, Alexis en la vida real también se llama Alexis, es humerista y ciego. No se si fumará, pero viendo lo autobiográfica que es la serie muy probablemente sea así.

Estuve escuchando algo sobre esta producción hace poco y me parece bien que de cierta forma se trate de algo autobiográfico ya que los personajes tienen las mismas condiciones que los actores que los interpretan, eso le otorga realismo al asunto y nos hace pensar que no existen fronteras que puedan detenerte cuando quieres lograr algo.
Yo la encontré de casualidad, no había oído nada sobre la serie, pero después de ver el primer capítulo no dudé en verla toda. Creo que te deja buen cuerpo después de verla toda. No se si se trata de una autobiografía como tal, pero los personajes principales, Alexis y Charly, están inspirados en la vida real. Gracias por tu comentario.
Digo que de cierta forma son personajes autobiográficos porque comparten las mismas condiciones que los actores y supongo que las mismas vivencias y que se encuentran con las mismas limitaciones, pero solo estoy especulando 😄
Totalmente de acuerdo. Los personajes principales son ellos dos, el resto de la cuadrilla, sus padres y las aventuras que corren, no se si son reales o ficción.
