Oh, I really want to enjoy this movie, because once again you can see that the director is a huge fan of games. Just one small thing - this director should be at most his assistant, not the main creator, because he has no idea how to make movies. Some scenes were great, others were simply sensational, but we saw all of that in trailers. Everything else looked like a movie-like product. If a movie from 30 years ago (!!!) is better than the new one in almost every respect, it speaks very poorly of the director's skills. But I'll give it a chance anyway, after all, I've known MK since I was a little kid.

Zabawne, amerykanie ciągle próbują zarobić na scamie związanym z AI. Mam nadzieję, że jako ludzkość dojdziemy kiedyś do czasów, gdy ewidentny scam będzie przemilczany w mediach. I nie mówię tu o samym AI, bo dopiero od niedawna wiemy, że przeceniamy możliwości tej technologii, tylko o randomowej kobiecie, której nikt nie zna, a ma rzekomo dobry pomysł. Pomysł może mieć, ale co do zasady mówią o nim ludzie bez pomysłu, by się wybić ponad tłum.

A skoro mowa o grach, dostaliśmy kilka zdjęć na których widzimy m.in. Cage'a, Shao Kahna, Kitanę. Ech, ja naprawdę chcę się cieszyć tym filmem, bo znowu widać, że reżyser jest mega fanem gier. Tylko jedna, drobna sprawa - ten reżyser powinien być co najwyżej jego asystentem, a nie głównym twórcą, bo nie ma bladego pojęcia o tym, jak się robi filmy. Niektóre sceny były świetne, inne wręcz rewelacyjne, ale to wszystko widzieliśmy na trailerach. Cała reszta wyglądała jak produkt filmopodobny. Jeśli film sprzed 30 lat (!!!) jest lepszy niż nowy niemal pod każdym względem, to bardzo źle świadczy o umiejętnościach reżysera. Ale szansę i tak dam, w końcu znam MK od małego dziecka.

A propos starych i uznanych serii filmowych. Trwają prace nad kolejnym odświeżeniem jednej z takich marek. Studia produkujące filmy o średnim budżecie, przebierają nogami, by wyprodukować taki film. Tym bardziej, że ostatnia próba autorstwa Netflixa nie była ponoć zbyt udana.

400 milionów dolarów, no ładnie. XD Czyli żeby ten film zarobił, to miliard dolarów, to tam musi być na pewno. A jak jeszcze większa kampania dojdzie, to ze 1.2 miliarda trzeba będzie zarobić. Tam w Paramouncie chyba liczą na drugi cud z Tomem Cruisem po Top Gun 2. Nie sądzę by się to udało, ale jeśli zrobią dobrą kampanię marketingową i będą mieli trochę szczęścia, to why not?
