The Rise of the Empire: Ottoman.

This film production has the hallmark of Turkey. Ever since I became acquainted with its production, I have been interested in the design of the political, military and religious architecture and the result of the foundation of Constantinople, by Emperor Constantine I, The Great, in 324 A.D. Caesar ordered the execution to build majestic works on the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Byzantium, such as the Great Palace, the Forum of Constantine, and the Basilica of Hagia Sophia. In Constantinople, the political, religious and military turn of events that decided the fate of mankind up to the present day was decided. For example, it was there that the Roman Emperor Constantine I, the Great, with his mother Helena, created the solid foundations of the Catholic Christian Church. I am interested because I am a researcher of real facts, of events, of the past of mankind. This cinematographic piece, realistic and epic character of this work of the seventh art, I liked the chapters because they shook me psychically, which made me feel the obligation to stop the reproduction and continue for the next day, or to let it mature for two or three days. Its content is emotionally strong.

Desde que conocí su producción, me intereso por el diseño de la arquitectura política, militar y religiosa y el resultado de la fundación de Constantinopla, por el emperador Constantino I, El Grande, en el año 324 D del C. El Cesar, ordena la ejecución para construir majestuosas obras sobre las ruinas de la antigua ciudad griega de Bizancio, como el Gran Palacio, el Foro de Constantino, y la Basílica de Santa Sofía. En Constantinopla, se decidió el giro político, religioso y militar de los grandes acontecimientos que decidieron el destino de la humanidad hasta nuestros días. Por ejemplo, allí, el emperador romano Constantino I, el Grande, con su madre Helena; crearon las sólidas bases de la iglesia cristiana católica. Me interesa, porque soy investigador de los hechos reales, de los acontecimientos, del pasado de la humanidad. Esta pieza cinematográfica, carácter realista y épico de esta obra del séptimo arte, los capítulos me gustaron porque me sacudían psíquicamente, lo cual me hizo sentir la obligación de parar la reproducción y continuar para el siguiente día, o dejar madurar dos o tres días. Su contenido es fuerte emocionalmente.

The narrative of this six-episode series is relevant because of the fact that, with luxury and care, it describes, in a libretto that is regulated, subjectively and objectively, by the knowledge of expert historians in scientific research, the fall or seizure of Constantinople, the main historical scenes in which two empires, the Ottoman, confronted each other with the purpose of conquering the strategic place.

La narración de esta serie de seis capítulos es relevante debido a que, con lujo y esmero, describe, en un libreto que está regulado, subjetiva y objetivamente, por los conocimientos de expertos historiadores en la investigación científica, la caída o la toma de Constantinopla, las principales escenas históricas en las que se enfrentaron dos imperios, el otomano, con el propósito de conquistar el estratégico lugar.

Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu is Mehmed II, the Ottoman Sultan. He categorically plays the young sultan, who projects himself in the first episodes with a detached courage to conquer the city of Constantinople. Tommaso Basili as Constantine XI, the Byzantine emperor. Gürkan Uygun as Murad II, the father of Mehmed II. Selçuk Yöntem as the grand vizier Mahmud Pasha and Hazal Filiz Küçükköse spectacularly embodies Mara Hatun, Mehmed II's mother, sensitising me with her spectacular beauty to seduce me. This actress thrills me with her presence, she has the profile of the mother who is conceived as the main advisor in the growth of the successful stature of the young sultan's leadership. The series projects content from a wealth of human heritage history, such as the conflicting religious and political interests of the Ottoman and Roman empires. Also, it shows how the siege of Constantinople was a momentous event that changed the course of history.

Constantinople was militarily taken; the triumphant Ottoman Sultan, Mehmed II, changed its name to “Istanbul”, which means “to the city” in the Turkish language.
