Love at First Sight - Movie review
Love at First Sight (on Netflix)
I watched this a few weeks ago, so I can’t remember their names anymore haha, After a missed flight, our lead couple meets by chance. With hours to spend traveling across the Atlantic, they get to know each other and decide they want to see each other again. But will a broken cellphone prevent them from reconnecting? Or will fate come to the rescue?
So, yeah, this plot could have totally been a Hallmark movie. But what I see is something way better or should I say too good for that? The characters had depth and a reality to them that Hallmark doesn’t believe in. Seriously, I laughed, I cried, and I sighed happily. It was SO cute! Perfect for a girl’s night or solo. I wouldn’t put your man through this one. It was great but…have a heart. I’m going to put this one at 13+.
I can’t remember if there was foul language, but if there was, it couldn’t have been a ton. (My tolerance for that is low.) There was one off-color joke about “a happy ending” but younger or more innocent ears I suspect would miss it entirely. This movie did deal with some serious themes though, such as death and divorce. I actually really thought they handled both topics in realistic and yet positive terms, but because of the seriousness of the issues and the depth of feeling they are given, that’s why I’m going with 13+.
Don't forget to hive it a watch and I will be here to read your thoughts on this movie.
