Hello my friends, I know I am quite late for the second post of the adventure, but I postponed it a little bit because of the community show posts I had to share, but after all, it is an adventure where we have to write 10 posts in 30 days and I think I can make up for it. The topic I chose today is what a movie made me think. It would be a bit weird to put that in the title, so I'm going to briefly review the movie and then talk about what it made me think.

I wanted to watch the movie Mongol for a long time but I couldn't find the opportunity because I always had something to do, but I watched it two days ago and if you ask me if I liked the movie, I can't say that I liked it very much. The movie is about the life of Genghis Khan. It starts when he was a little boy and we even see him becoming the leader of the Mongols. Which scenes do you think are the most important in a movie about a leader like Genghis Khan? The battle scenes? Mongolian traditions? The scenes of his imprisonment? The answer is the last one and that surprised me a lot. For the majority of a 2-hour movie, Genghis Khan was a prisoner and was in constant pain. Of course, he may have spent part of his life in captivity. But his battles?

I'm not talking about a short movie, my friends, in a 2-hour movie, Genghis Khan's rise to the head of the Mongols is shown in just one battle. He defeats his blood brother Camoka and that's it. How did he gather the army? How did he convince people to fight on his side? How did he become one of the two greatest leaders of the Mongols? Camoka was already the leader of a community and a powerful one, that's how he got to where he is, but Genghis Khan's tribe didn't have a single human being. They were all killed or captured. How could Genghis Khan suddenly become one of the most powerful leaders of the Mongols? It was quite annoying that the movie never mentioned this.

But other than that, the battle scenes in the movie were quite good. I had already come across these scenes on Youtube and I enjoyed watching the whole thing. I don't want to give you any more spoilers, if I were to give the movie a score, it would be 5 out of 10. I think this is the lowest score I have ever given to a movie.

As for what the movie made me think, when a person really puts his mind to it, there is nothing that he cannot achieve. No victory or great office is easily won. The positions you win easily, you lose easily. I hope you understand what I mean. But if you dig your fingernails in, if you are totally focused, nobody can stop you. If you are going through hard times, it happens to everybody. There are millions of people living in hunger and misery. And people who are in a much worse situation than you. And those who are better off than you didn't get there by chance. Get up and fight. Fight your bad luck, fight your opponents, fight that thing that you never achieved and you will win in the end. Believe in that! I can say that this movie motivated me. It might make you feel the same way.

Mongol filmini uzun zamandır izlemek istiyordum ancak fırsat bulamıyordum, çünkü hep yapacak bir şeyim oluyordu ancak iki gün önce izledim ve filmi beğendim mi derseniz çok da beğendiğimi söyleyemem. Savaş sahneleri mi? Moğol gelenekleri mi? Esir olduğu sahneler mi? Cevap sonuncu ve bu beni oldukça şaşırttı. 2 saat süren bir filmin çoğunluğunda Cengiz Han esirdi ve sürekli acı çekiyordu. Tabi ki hayatının bir kısmını esir olarak geçirmiş olabilir. Ancak savaşları?

Kısa bir filmden bahsetmiyorum dostlarım, 2 saatlik bir filmde Cengiz Han'ın Moğolların başına nasıl geçtiği sadece tek bir savaşla gösteriliyor. Kan kardeşi Camoka'yı yeniyor ve hepsi bu. Orduyu nasıl topladı? İnsanları kendi safında savaşmaya nasıl ikna etti? Nasıl oldu da Moğolların en büyük iki liderinden biri olmayı başardı? Camoka zaten bir topluluğun lideriydi ve güçlü bir taneydi, onun bulunduğu yere nasıl geldiği bariz ancak Cengiz Han'ın kabilesinde tek bir insan bile yoktu. Hepsi öldürüldü ya da esirdi. Nasıl olabilir de Cengiz Han birden moğolların en güçlü liderlerinden biri olabilir. Filmin bundan hiç bahsetmemesi oldukça can sıkıcıydı.

Ama bunun dışında filmdeki savaş sahneleri oldukça iyiydi. Zaten Youtube'da daha önce bu sahnelere denk gelmiştim ve tamamını izlemek hoşuma gitti. Size daha fazla spoiler vermek istemiyorum, filme bir puan verecek olsaydım bu 10 üzerinden 5 olurdu. Sanırım bu izlediğim filmler arasında en düşük puan verdiğim film.

Filmin bana ne düşündürdüklerine gelecek olursak, bir insan gerçekten kafaya koyduğunda başaramayacağı hiçbir şey yoktur. Hiçbir zafer ya da büyük makam kolayca kazanılamaz. Kolayca kazandığınız makamları kolayca kaybedersiniz. Ne demek istediğimi anlıyorsunuzdur umarım. Ama tırnaklarınızla kazıyarak, tamamıyla odaklanırsanız sizi kimse durduramaz. Zor zamanlar geçiriyorsanız bu herkesin başına geliyor. Açlık, sefalet içinde yaşayan milyonlarca insan var. Sizden çok kötü durumda olan da. Sizden daha iyi durumda olanlar da oraya tesadüfen gelmediler. Kalkın ve savaşın. Kötü şansınızla savaşın, rakiplerinizle savaşın, asla başaramadığınız o şeyle savaşın ve sonunda kazanacaksınız. Buna inanın! Bu film beni motive etti diyebilirim. Size de aynı şeyleri hissettirebilir.
