El matrimonio es algo que aun no he experimentado y sinceramente no es algo que creo posible en el futuro, pero hay alguna película donde la historia de unos esposos me parece hermosa, se trata de la película animada UP, donde el protagonista es un anciano llamado Carl Fredricksen cuya esposa ha muerto y se niega a vender su casa a una constructora, a su vida llega un niño explorador cuyos padre no le dan atención, este niño pretende ayudar al Carl en lo pueda para así cumplir la meta de una medalla por ayudar a un anciano, pero parte importante del trasfondo de la película de la aventura del niño y el anciano, es la relación que tuvo Carl con su esposa.

Marriage is something I have not yet experienced and honestly it is not something I think is possible in the future, but there is a movie where the story of a spouses seems beautiful to me, it is the animated film UP, where the protagonist is an old man named Carl Fredricksen whose wife has died and refuses to sell his house to a construction company, a boy scout arrives in his life whose parents do not pay attention to him, this boy intends to help Carl in any way he can in order to fulfill the goal of a medal for helping an old man, but an important part of the background of the film of the adventure of the boy and the old man, is the relationship that Carl had with his wife.

Carl conoce a su esposa Ellie cuando eran niños, el era un niño tímido y reservado pero ella eran muy extrovertida, se convirtieron en mejores amigos y cuando crecieron floreció el amor romántico y se casaron, quisieron formar una familia pero lamentablemente no pudieron tener un hijo, esto los entristeció pero siguieron adelante con un amor incomparable, tuvieron una vida tranquila, tenían el sueño mutuo de algún día conocer unas cataratas en Sudamérica, pero como pasa en la vida real la vida fue transcurriendo resolviendo los problemas que se iban presentando, haciendo ese sueño cada vez más lejos, pero nunca se separaron, trabajaron como un equipo hasta llegar a la vejez.

Carl meets his wife Ellie when they were children, he was a shy and reserved child but she was very outgoing, they became best friends and when they grew up romantic love blossomed and they got married, they wanted to start a family but unfortunately they could not have a child, this saddened them but they moved on with an incomparable love, they had a quiet life, they had the mutual dream of one day visiting some waterfalls in South America, but as happens in real life, life went by solving the problems that arose, making that dream further and further away, but they never separated, they worked as a team until they reached old age.

Se podría decir que Carl y Ellie vivieron felices juntos hasta que la muerte los separó, aun cuando no pidieron cumplir el sueño de ir a las cataratas, es por eso que Carl se siente triste y con la necesidad de ir a ese lugar para cumplir la promesa cuando comienza la película, pero al final vemos como para Ellie la vida al lado de su amor Carl fue una aventura feliz, ella se sintió plena a su lado y esto lo constata Carl al ver el álbum de sueños de ambos, compartieron las altas y bajas de la vida y lograron permanecer juntos, yo considero que es una historia de amor muy bella, pues no se trata de que no hayan tenido problemas, sino que siguieron adelante y atravesaron las situaciones malas juntos, es lindo que además al final de la película Carl entienda que debe vivir el resto de su vida tranquilo y feliz porque Ellie fue feliz hasta el final a su lado. Ojalá todas las personas pudieran tener un matrimonio tan lindo como el de Carl y Ellie.

You could say that Carl and Ellie lived happily together until death did them part, even though they didn’t ask to fulfill their dream of going to the falls, that’s why Carl feels sad and with the need to go to that place to fulfill the promise when the movie begins, but in the end we see how for Ellie life next to her love Carl was a happy adventure, she felt full by his side and this is confirmed by Carl when he sees the album of their dreams, they shared the ups and downs of life and managed to stay together, I consider it to be a very beautiful love story, because it’s not that they didn’t have problems, but that they moved on and went through bad situations together, it’s nice that at the end of the movie Carl understands that he must live the rest of his life peacefully and happily because Ellie was happy until the end by his side. I wish all people could have a marriage as nice as Carl and Ellie’s.
