Matt and his wife Karen unexpectedly arrive at his brother Steve's house on Christmas Eve, after not having heard from him for some time.

They expect to enjoy a quiet evening, but soon discover that something strange is going on: Steve is holding a man hostage in his basement. However, this is no ordinary hostage; Steve is convinced that he has captured the Devil himself.

Here begins the difficult dilemma of whether to believe him or try to save the person imprisoned in the dark basement.

Suspense takes over the plot, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the film.

This film marks the debut of director Josh Lobo, who not only directs, but also writes this haunting tale.

Although the film's premise is not entirely original in the horror genre, as it is common to play with the viewer's perception by presenting an apparent “evil,” the director manages to effectively hold the audience's interest.

Although the plot may be reminiscent of other horror films, Lobo's approach and ability to create tension make for an engrossing experience.

Every twist in the story and every revelation is designed to keep viewers intrigued, keeping them glued to the screen.

The film combines classic horror elements with a surprising narrative, delivering a thrilling and disturbing experience that is not to be missed.
