The story begins when Al-Masih appears in the Middle East, where he presents himself as a spiritual leader who performs extraordinary acts, such as healing the sick and predicting events.

His charisma and supernatural abilities attract a growing following, as well as the attention of the authorities, including the CIA, who send agent Eva Geller (Michelle Monaghan) to investigate his origins and motivations.

As the series progresses, Eva is confronted with ethical and moral dilemmas about faith, manipulation and the power of belief.

The narrative unfolds on multiple fronts, exploring the lives of various characters who are affected by the figure of Al-Masih.

These include a young Muslim who becomes his fervent follower, a rabbi who struggles with his faith, and an evangelical pastor who sees Al-Masih as a threat to his own influence.

As the story progresses, secrets about Al-Masih's past and his true intentions are revealed, leading to a climax full of tension and suspense.

The series plays with the ambiguity of the figure of Al-Masih, leaving the viewer questioning whether he is really a messiah or a manipulator using faith for his own ends.
