In this fascinating story, we follow Will, a mysterious immortal being who lives in a desolate and lonely landscape, where his mission is to select the souls who will have the opportunity to be born on Earth.

Will, played by Winston Duke, must evaluate nine candidates over the course of nine days, subjecting them to emotional and ethical tests to determine who is prepared to face the complexities of human life.

As Will observes the candidates through a magic mirror that allows him to view their past and future lives, he is plunged into an emotional and philosophical journey that leads him to question his own existence and his role in the universe.

With each candidate representing a different facet of humanity, the film explores deep themes such as empathy, identity, memory and the importance of each life in the fabric of the universe.

Throughout the nine days, Will interacts with the candidates in unique ways, challenging them to reflect on their past choices and future dreams, while he himself confronts his own inner demons.

With an exceptional cast that includes Zazie Beetz, Benedict Wong and Tony Hale, among others, the film immerses us in a world of mystery, beauty and melancholy that invites reflection and introspection.

Through its evocative cinematography, emotive soundtrack and intelligent screenplay, “Nine Days” transports us to a place where time, space and memory intertwine in a poetic dance that invites us to appreciate the fragility and beauty of existence.

Not seen Winston Duke star in a lot of films apart from the really popular ones like IT, I think. Looks like the type to evoke a lot of feelings. Thank you for sharing!
