The Core, a science fiction/adventure film

This is a science fiction/adventure film directed by Jon Amiel and starring a stellar cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Hilary Swank, Delroy Lindo, and Stanley Tucci.

However, the screenplay, written by Cooper Layne and John Rogers, manages to hold the viewer's interest through dramatic twists and tense moments.
