This is a biographical film that tells the story of how Ray Kroc, a milk mixer salesman, became the founder of the McDonald's fast food chain.

The film begins by introducing Ray Kroc, a 52-year-old man struggling to maintain his business selling milk mixers. One day, he receives an unusually large order from a restaurant in San Bernardino, California.

Intrigued, Kroc decides to visit the place and meet the brothers Dick and Mac McDonald, who have created a revolutionary restaurant model.

The McDonald brothers have designed a fast and efficient cooking and serving system that allows them to produce hamburgers, fries and soft drinks in a much more streamlined manner than traditional restaurants.

Impressed by this system, which they call the ‘Speedee Service System’, Kroc convinces the brothers to grant him the franchise rights to expand the business nationally.

Despite the brothers' initial misgivings, Kroc succeeds in convincing them and begins opening new McDonald's restaurants in different cities.

Kroc proves to be an astute businessman, with a vision for expansion and growth that clashes with the brothers' more conservative philosophy.

As the business expands, Kroc begins to take full control, gradually displacing the McDonald brothers and renegotiating the terms of the franchise in his favour.

He uses aggressive marketing techniques and an obsessive focus on standardisation and efficiency to turn McDonald's into a nationwide fast food chain.

The film shows how, despite the brothers' initial reluctance, Kroc becomes increasingly ambitious and determined to take full control of the business.

He even goes so far as to buy the company and the rights to the McDonald's brand, stripping the brothers of their own legacy.

The film critically portrays Kroc's personality and tactics, portraying him as a man driven by unbridled ambition and a ruthless business mentality, who succeeds in taking over the McDonald brothers' dream.
