This is the fourth installment of the Thor saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), directed by Taika Waititi and released in 2022.

The film continues to explore the life of the god of thunder, Thor Odinson, played by Chris Hemsworth, as he navigates new challenges and searches for his place in the universe.

The story begins with Thor grappling with his identity and purpose after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

After going through a personal transformation, Thor decides to embark on an adventure to find peace and happiness.

However, his peace of mind is interrupted by the appearance of Gorr, the Butcher of Gods, played by Christian Bale.

Gorr is a tragic villain who seeks revenge on the gods after the death of his daughter and the betrayal of the gods he worshipped. His mission is to eliminate all the gods, posing an imminent threat to Thor and his allies.

In his quest to stop Gorr, Thor is reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, who has taken up the mantle of Thor by wielding the Mjolnir, the enchanted hammer.

Jane, facing her own battle with cancer, becomes a powerful ally in the fight against Gorr.

Throughout the film, Thor is also joined by his friends, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and his sister, the goddess of war, Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson.

Together, they form a diverse and powerful team that must take on Gorr and his dark forces. The film combines action, comedy and emotional moments, maintaining Waititi's signature style, which effectively blends humour and drama.

Visually, the film stands out for its impressive special effects and colourful production design, which transports viewers to fantastic and epic worlds.

The soundtrack, which includes songs by Guns N' Roses, complements the film's energy and adds a nostalgic touch.
